Okay, I'm very close, VERY close, to just dropping the Raiders as my favorite team for over half a century (Yeah, I know, I know, I won't let the 'door' hit me in the behind and yes, I was as diehard a TRUE fan as any of you). Few teams have seen long term success changing coaches every 1 or 2 years. Even if a coach blazes in and runs the team into the playoffs, it's almost always a pan-flash, a short-lived time that they're legitimate contenders and after a few years, they either blossom or they become perennial also-rans, juuust good enough to be stuck in the middle of the draft. If I'm Maxx Crosby, if I'm Spillane, Mattison, any player in or a season away from a contract year, I'm tired of the revolving door and I want OUT. If I'm a rookie like Bowers, I'm biding my time until I can get out. As a fan, I'm tired of that same revolving door and at this moment (and I may change my mind) I just don't want to put up with it any longer. To me, there's a difference between a team just not being very good and a team that's dysfunctional. The Raiders are inching toward the latter. Now, all that said, I'm pissed right now, which is where some of this is coming from. I might wait to see who they hire as head coach. If it's not Jon Gruden (and I doubt it will be), I'm probably going to be done.

Richard Sherman was right! Marc n Telesco set AP up for failure! No QB1, got rid of our RB1 for Madison. Brought in Minshew. Didnt hire Kingsbury or Kubiak so he left AP with No QB1 or OC. Telesco took the offense that got JMD fired and made it Worse. Worse QB and RB room. Oline hella young and weak with no push. Yet it's AP fault he couldn't win in a QB driven league with the worst QB room in the league.
