I've been in ascendant 2 for about 2 episodes but I have improved a lot since I first hit ascendant 2 and I wish I cared less about my rank but it's really easy to get obsessed with rr and be sad when you lose it when at the end of the day it's just numbers on a screen. I believe that you should not judge yourself just for losing a game or deranking, but its still important to have something to grind for, its not that ranks dont matter, they do, they are there to show your progress, but you should still remember to have fun and dont think too much about it.
