22ct Gold Twist Bangle resizing
Today in the Workshop a 22ct gold bangle gets size down to fit the client more comfortably. The bangle has a twisting design so its going to be bit tricky to get it the correct size and line up the pattern to be an invisible join!

In todays video I'm making by hand a pair of diamond earring studs in platinum. This was a commission from a client as a Christmas gift to his fiancé. The diamonds are GIA certified 0.71ct each.

Did not taper the sides 🤣 there’s no solid center to the surface welds you did
It’s likely silver,white gold or platinum,it’s not a fucking steel beam or a pipeline weld dawg it’s a solid weld and it’s not under tension so what’s the issue boss man?
@@Moistpotatoman so your right it won’t take one too much pressure but when finishing and polishing etc the air bubbles of a not fully welded band will show signs of perosity early. Aka the customer will notice and the ring will need to be fixed

Tantalum. We didnt even discuss this is chemistry class. Never seen one used in jewelry. Amazing work. And yet my eyes still involuntarily goes to the guns whenever they show up.

Beautiful work. Would you be able to explain how forming tantalum differs from silver or gold? How does it bend? Does it crack? Is annealing any different? I'm really interested in getting a better idea of how this metal behaves when it's being formed and shaped
