@@AWlpsSHOW36 students don't have to learn to respect their teachers. Teachers have to gain the respect from their students through positive and meaningful actions. This is how you build a good report with your students. As a teacher you do not demand respect like a dictator.

@@duffmann2021 That still doesn't excuse these kids assaulting their teachers. It's never okay to hit and punch your teachers. Your comment really undermined the issue and that's not okay. This is their job and they aren't already getting paid enough. Their treatment needs to freaking change.

@@AWlpsSHOW36 I agree it isn't ok to hit your teacher or anyone in school. I never said it was okay. I just have a different approach to teaching. When you build a community of respect you don't have to be afraid. I have been in pretty rough schools, where students did not need a social media challenge to hit a teacher, and I was never afraid. I also never demand respect like a dictator or mafia boss.

Yea like I get that some people didn't like Trump sure but a good idea is a good idea regardless to fight someone on something that you'd actually want and would have been beneficial simply because you don't like the person presenting the idea is stupid. For instance I'm sure many conservatives don't like Joe Biden but if Joe presented with an initiative to ban TikTok I'm sure he'd have a lot of republican support regardless.
