You mentioned the platform height, did you mention the length of your slide?
What’s the conduit size? 1/2” 3/4”??
How do you polish them to make them faster?
how much were the pipes? and where did you get them?
Hi there I am a newer listener of the Agritourism Ideas Podcast and I’ve been trying to contact the creator to inquire how to access all the podcasts because they stopped loading when I got to episode 56 (descending order). Seems you guys might have closed down this venture but I would love to know if there is any place that has the rest of the podcast available. Please & Thank you! I think this TH-cam channel is great too! Especially today with all the hype around people wanting to start their own agriculture ventures.
Can I get a material list please
Awesome!
I’d have them sit inside a burlap sack just so no little hands get caught
Is there still a way to get the materials list?
This is an awesome video!!!
These are the worst slides ever created. Save your time and money.
Супер 👍, можно и беговую дорожку сделать таким способом.
no bearings?
Was hoping to get the materials list but looks like the domain is no longer valid. Is there a way to contact you or an updated website link? Thanks
you two are the most dull humans on the planet
Whats the rollers round side caps maintenance life or how often would you recommend to replace them
I think it is a great idea to install items like this slide to make your house a fun place to go to. Kids need anchors like a fun place to go and people who create fun experiences. I am currently having a swimming pool built. The fiberglass slide that goes into the pool will cost $8000 so $800 - $1000 seems very reasonable. It looks safe too. Thanks, guys! Love it! I am on it!

Hello, How have millers secured the pipes to the platforms?
I did slide with cardboard tubes We built the 🌎 World’s 🥇 Longest 🌱 Backyard 📦 Cardboard 💦 Water Slide 😜 DIY th-cam.com/video/D0fF4uDV1yM/w-d-xo.html
Definitely if stuck(between 2 rolls) will break body parts, an Open-Mischief? Cannibalism?
One concern, please answer. Can't kids fingers get stuck while going down and then get ripped off? I heard at 10:09 injuries are not issue because they all roll in same direction
nice!!!
This is a fun build, easy to make and accessible for everyone. As an industrial product it’s great. But I won’t recommend building this as a children’s playing slide. There are a lot of issues with this design and all the rules and regulations that are necessary to insure the safety of small kids are ignored. To name a few problems: that cute little kid could get her hair stuck, rolled around one (or more) of those turning pipes. The strings on a hoodie could even suffocate a small kid. There is no angle at the end to slow down the kids, they will just fall down on the ground. The width of the slide will allow multiple kids to slide down together, which is a bad idea. The kids arms, legs and even small kids heads can get caught by those vertical posts between the slide and the fences. The wood beams will bend in time. The wood will give splinters. And the fingers will definitely be pinched between the rollers, as I have experienced first hand. So it is a fun and cool build, but not recommended for small kids.
Wow! I was hoping to see a full sized person try the slide aswel! Amazing work! I didn't expect her to slide at a slower rate and slowed momentum! Neat how weight adds that much speed!
Urgh...in UK the end caps are too expensive they cost more than 4 metre pipe!
Гоё
I made one. the materials cost me around $1200. very noisy and not safe for kids. Money well spent.
can these pipes make bends for a twisting experience?
i watch this before, th-cam.com/video/79zXWIEflOg/w-d-xo.html
And I am six
I am a kid but I really really want to do this but I'm just a kid but I'm sorry I'm supposed to be a grown-up but it's fine though please I just want to do this so bad
That looks so fun. I want to build my own now!
800$
I am thinking of building one of these but my main worry are fingers getting caught between the rollers. Is that a problem people have experienced?
$800 😆 ok
What height did you do your demonstration from?
$800??? I’m out 😂😂😂
Suggest using PVC pipes, bolted to your posts, as side rails instead of the 2x6's. This can prevent splinters for anyone who happens to drag a hand along the rail.
great idea i have to made one of those... i do work on pipe so now my boss has to get more pipes and caps lol
This is fantastic! Thanks for sharing!!
That does not look like $800 worth of pipes. More like $300. What is that canadian "dollars"?
Pfff garbage and lat of money for nothing
