I am currently Working on a full overhaul mod that allows this skill of combat to be possible Based on final fantasy difficulty that remixes all the items effects, skills effects, enemy diffculty etc That make the style of play pretty much mandatory. It's a colossal ton of work though as one of the things that I would want to implement is Clive taking his full Ifrit form in normal battle, I've achieved this in several battles already however to say it's completely wonky is an underestimation and it will take huge work. It will go on Nexus when I'm done However long that will take.

I get why they added the Cooldown, but honestly by the time you beat Bahamut it barely matters anymore. I say after you beat Odin take all the limiters off and let us become as gods.

itd be cool if there was a mechanic called "eikon trigger" that just deactivated cooldowns for a few seconds and you could charge it back up with good combat.

Mimics half of KH2/3 combat, mimics 1/4 of Devil May Cry combat. Awesome.

After seeing this, I feel like this game should have no cooldown, might have to do a bit of rebalancing, but it would probably be a lot more fun without a cooldown

So FF16 with no cooldown is basically an average DMC and Bayonetta experience.

The combos of dmc Devil may cry are satisfactory

the eikon skill shouldnt be use as dps. it actual use lie in prolong the combo or for finisher. but yeah, the requirement to pull DMC-like combo is actually higher than DMC, so maybe just 0.01% advance player can pull it. because its too hard, they even tone done the limiter (combo) with first dlc, thats why dmc-like combo should be more achievable for intermedied player. but it seems a lot of player didnt really know how to create combo thats why things like this happen (break the game with mod)

You know... Maybe this could bring me to this game despite all it's flaws. The combat was the biggest of them.
