Paul Hester with Tony Martin & Mick Molloy (1998)
มุมมอง 1.8K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this excerpt from Crowded House drummer Paul Hester’s TV series ‘Hessie’s Shed’, comedians Tony Martin and Mick Molloy read from the 8-year-old Paul’s ‘personal file’. Paul was a beloved regular on the ‘Martin/Molloy’ radio show and his obsession with sheds on that program led to a series of ‘Hessie’s Shed’ shows in the Gershwin Room at St Kilda's Esplanade Hotel, with Paul’s band Largest Li...

wtf is this garbage! I can't believe that you insist on doing this amateurish nonsense. And those animations are so childish. Wait, that's my phone. I better take this. "Oh Gerard.....thank god"
Late to the party, but I grew up with John Clarke. I was raised on The Games, Crackerjack and Clarke and Dawe was a mandatory moment of silence in our house that was quickly replaced with laughter. That ending to the clip compilation is sheer brilliance, what a touching way to celebrate such a colossal talent
I sent an email to Natalie Tran, of course she didn't answer..
Its so refreshing to have an interview where the guest can just talk 😂
The first description of Jonathan Creek i heard was that Alan Davies was a magician who lived in a windmill and solves crimes using magic. I was trying to imagine what in the world that would be like, Alan Davies as Gandalf solving crimes?
Thanks for uploading this, lost it in my iTunes migration
i would pay for a kitson show if its under £3.74
A full 2 minutes before the first Leonard Part 6 reference. This podcast is slipping
That Nik Kershaw bit was brilliant
Incredibly accurate depiction of what I can only suspect is most people’s experience of contacting CentreLink… 😂📞🤯🤬
Id like to begin by the acknowledging traditional owners of Bunnings ( westfarnes?) I would like also pay my respects to the mangers past and present
Champagne comedy.
10/10. But how's about a sizzletown podfarts, starring 2 fat bastards (or 1), from the *very* classy cooking programme on eat your peas! *Edit: great to hear from Bob Shooter (of the Shooting Shooters Association) recently. Smart move, distancing himself politically from that bag of sawdust btw👍
Suggestion for another one from podcast 133, the My Chemical Romance cocky knees up sketch
I just listened to this episode for the 1st time earlier today. I laughed so hard at this point. 🤣
Sunshine is a hidden gem
was Matt Preston ok
What’s it gonna beeeeeeeeeee??!?
Did somebody step on a duck?
Proud to be the first 'like', four years after the release.
Takes me back to the infamous 'Marsland Wall of Sound'...
this is dizzy stuff, folks!
Bloody Gogol
Truly SHOCKING🤌
Share the Chocolate with me
That call from the editor of the Women's Day was hilarious
I miss Bert
I had to look up credenza . Cheating Hawk bastards
Still the best radio show ive ever heard. I miss radio being this good
This is the only rules of football I am interested in. 😂
The Brown Album was Champagne Comedy 🍾 Anyone else remember watching the Late Show on SBS on Sat in Sydney.
One of the best Get This sketches. Thanks for all your work Tony
😂😂😂
Still can't believe they used the Transformers 1986 songs
I have only discovered Sizzlewtown recently. I have binged the first 59 episodes in 2 weeks. Tony Martin has always been a favourite, but this stamps him as the King of Australian comedy ...an absolute master !!!! 20/10
This man is a genius he managed to get the sound levels right!
😂😂😂
Tony is the master of Radio and radio comedy. His sketches are the best!
The wind swept Richard Marsland
One of the funniest things I have ever heard!
Well it *has* worked for decades, but the question should be whether something else would work better. And the REAL question is what is causing the inflation in the first place … if 5% are continually sick and there's only 95% of people to do 100% as much work that needs to be done, something and someone somewhere has to lose …
It's a parody...
Tony was always the genius behind Martin Molloy.
I return to this often and appreciate it so much. Thanks to Tony, Ed and (prisoner) Matt Dower for this podcast, and all of Get This. I still listen to the show on long haul flights, on road trips and when I need cheering up. Get This showcased to the nation what a talented and beautiful person Marslando was. I think about him often and wish he was still around to be equally as baffled by the fan's ongoing parasocial relationship with you all! Cheers x
You don't get entertainment like that on the Logies!
😂😂
I used to tape these shows after school! I wish I could find the tapes. Where I lived we couldn't receive commercial FM unless we had a huge FM Antenna fixed to the house - fortunately it was rebroadcast in glorious Mono on AM Radio!
Tony, Tony,Tony, keep up the awesome work , if you can call it that but this is the best late night podcast on anything .👍🍕👍
This is lovely, thanks for sharing. He was an authentic, beautiful and talented person. Just like Richard, he knew he was loved and cared about. We can't imagine the pain they felt to still choose to leave us in spite of that love. Miss you Hessie x
Was this pingers and champagne year?
that cant be comedy though because its centrelink to a t
