not sure what design Kite is - -looks a bit Davidson "y" either way she is sailing well (if not a little heavy)

What kind of boat is that?
Leech 650 extended to 750 new bow longer stern bigger rig (according to FB) and racks. The original Leech 650 was already pretty quick, just a bit sticky in the light and a bit more stability than the fairly similarly sized Shaw 650 which was a little lighter, skinnier and got unstuck a little faster with less form stability (Leech 650 used the same C-Tech rig dimensions and "learned" a bit from the Shaw deck layout and so forth as it came after the Shaw)

Checked the boat speed at about 0:47 seconds at the light mast. ... about 2,5 x boat length per second = 2,5 * 5,5 = 13,75 m/s * 3,6 = 49,5 km/h divided by 1,852 kn/km/h = 26,7 kn @Brett + Max: Did you track speed that day? What did you log? 🙋🏼♂️

Sailing on the Swan River,out of the Nedlands Yacht Club,over many years,despite been a river,the water conditions are changeable.Back then,racing would only be called off when the winds we’re constantly over 25kts ,with the Fremantle Doctor (the local Seabreeze) 15/20kts was about average ,good times 😀😀😀😀 Robbie Binedell.
This is on Melville water on the Swan River Perth ,Western Australia ( on a easterly breeze ) winds can be a bit 😬😬😬 when you think you are killing them WRONG 😂😂😂😂
