Intro up to 1:10, decent maiden flight 1:10 to 3:40, fatal flight begins at 3:40, crash at 4:00. Tail heaviness obscured intially by elevator down trim. Plane became unstable once trimmed for level flight. Pilot failed to adjust CG between flights, with perilous results.

Really nice precision flying! I want one!
A great flying plane. Nice flight. No ASX ? I like flying mine raw too. Such a baby doll.
@@8poundquark I had AS3X gyros going, but didn't lean on SAFE. Way too fun doing stunts!
That’s the best flying plane ✈️ I’ve ever seen you fly it’s just so smooth. You really have control of that plane. GREAT JOB
@@donlucas1631 Thank you! A very well behaved plane.
Looks like it didn’t need much trim and it fly’s Great.
Thanks, seems like all Parkzone planes fly killer, just set em up a little nose heavy and set throws as per the manual. Just posted another video of same plane, easy to fly.
Good save there at the end. Really appreciate your videos and time you put into them. Keep your wings up
@@donlucas1631 Still figuring this plane out, prop vs battery vs cg. I try to keep my videos honest and this one was nearly disastrous!
@ What I like about your videos you post them as they really are good or bad things happen and that’s the real truth out at the flying field. Watching you made me start building again. Thanks for sharing
@@donlucas1631 I'm sick as a dog, still went out to fly, came home feeling worse. Probably smarter to build or repair planes sometimes.
@ Theirs a lot of viruses going around that care of yourself.
Whipped it good!
and the best trucker music ever
Cute little plane! You juggle well😂
@@8poundquark That thing was all over the place in the wind, and once I went to 4S, the passenger door window ripped mostly off, flapping audibly in the wind, not good for aero, haha.
@@8poundquark Then all 3 of us guys crashed into the same patch of weeds...good times!
Have a wonderful beautiful day ❤❤❤watching ofw Saudi Arabia jeddah 🇸🇦❣️❤️❤️💕❤️❤️💕❤️❤❤❤❤new support new subscribers ❤❤❤❤❤wow its beautiful fly❤❤❤❤
Wait till you get it on water! It's a Dreamboat. Nice flying 😊
@@8poundquark Must be fun flying it in the Great White North with all that snow, eh?
@danielwoehr2733 what Snow ? Not much here really. I do 90% of the flying with mine on water. Oh, flaps addition is the absolute best!
Deep Purple 💜. Great video man!! 👍👍👍
Take the retracts out and file a second flat spot on the gear leg of it will keep moving even with Loctite
@@shanethepain2009 Did that last week, also noticed that strut was pushed in too deep to line up set screw with flat. Now with 2 flats lined up w set screws, rock solid.

What a beautiful place to fly.
We were all over that parking lot😂 nice video 🎉
Man that’s a nice flying plane and big too
You and the drone pilot knocked it out the park. Nice video!!
Looks like you you got it flying nicely, very nice scale flyer great job
4:31 that was awesome. 👍😊
The music. Hell yeah!
Is it legal to have that much fun? Thanks for sharing this fun video with us.
@@ddegn A good drone pilot can make my granny laps look good!
That's music for old people! I recognize it!
Looking good! Flock of Seagulls!
That looks fun. I like my little one.
Woohoo 🙌. I got another Corsair for Christmas!
Nice flight and recording. Location in SA?
Love to watch you fly Daniel.
@@donlucas1631 I had fun scouting out some new to me local fields for small planes. This P-26 is from Alfa Models in Czech Republic. I just 2 more kits in the mail from them last wknd, a 33" belly lander P-39 and a cute little 28" Albatros DVa. The latter will complement the 43" Parkzone version you sold me as well as my bigger 50" Dynam. These are just airframe kits so I have to spec out and source all elecronics myself.
@ Eyes haven’t changed much since I got out of the hobby but the technology has and I am seeing more and more little cameras on planes. I was thinking about some sort of digital camera and goggles but don’t know what to buy. I would only fly micro planes and try to stay under the 250 grams and just fly in the backyard so I need something small and light. If you can think of any suggestions please let me know. I really miss flying but enjoy watching you.
@@donlucas1631 I haven't yet made the leap into FPV equipment, but a buddy let me throw on his goggles while he flew his plane line of sight, and I didn't feel inhibited by my glaucoma, maybe because thru the plane camera you are watching large terrain features, while line of sight, you are trying to watch a shrinking plane. His onboard camera and FPV goggles cost him about 600 bucks. Technology should shrink and lighten things over time, but so far I haven't seen onboard FPV cameras light enough for a half pound plane, but I'll let you know once I see something online.
@ Thanks so much and keep your wings 🪽 up
My cousin and I used to try and hit one another’s plane ✈️ and it was almost impossible but we had a lot of fun that day.
@@donlucas1631 I had a scratch plane hit by a drone a couple months ago! Flat spin crash. Just a matter of time.
Could do without the "music"!! It was noise at best.
@@StephenMazzitelli Thank you for watching.
Great 😂
4% left in my battery :D Worth it... Oh so worth it!
Good things come from tonacity. 🎉
@@8poundquark Gotta be careful not to biff it again!
Very nice flight
@@old_coastie Will try it again today at the airfield.
Looks fixable. Well, everything is fixable 😂. Good video! 👍
@@8poundquark All electronics good, wing split right on glue seam, mashed one wingtip and cowl, totally repairable.
Footage from the first flight clearly shows it had nose UP trim, indicating it was likely nose heavy. Maybe your battery slipped on the 2nd flight.
Most of the first flight was kept under control by manually pulling the stick back as it would dive with hands off sticks. It got squirrely once trimmed at end of first flight and I chopped throttle, pushed nose down, and nursed it in. Dumb part was not adding weight to nose, got in a hurry. But the up trim in second flight makes me wonder if tail was assembled w correct decalage.
Cool! A great project 👍👍👍
@@8poundquarkThanks man. I spent a year on and off from design to first flight on that one. No crashes yet! My fixed, sprung suspension design worked well enough that a variant will go into my scratch Avro Vulcan design.
@@danielwoehr2733 it flew great 👍👍👍
Always
Dan that plane really flew good in the wind. You really know how to set up a plane ✈️
@@donlucas1631 Glad I got the CG right as well as flap to elevator mix on first try, thanks to some searches on RC Groups.
Great video 👍🇺🇲🇨🇦 That baby needs more speed 😂. Awesome flight!!!
Thank you. This one has been one of the better behaved Dynams in my buddy's air force.
Looks like it fly’s Great 👍
You go Homey! Some good flying weather coming up. Love the music
What kind of goggles are you using? Are they digital. Nice plane
@@donlucas1631 No goggles, Luke, just a RunCam velcroed to my hat and a cheap $20 Amazon camera on the plane.
@@danielwoehr2733 You must have Great eyes. I loose sight of the plane when you are flying 🤣
@@donlucas1631 Glaucoma in one eye, massive floaters in both. Having fun while I can!
Seen you have landing gears on it. You are landing so smoothly. Another good flying plane 👍
@@donlucas1631 This one is very easy to land. Had an 8 mph headwind yesterday, no flaps reqd.
Part of the fun! Unfortunately 😊
@@ryanwilliamsfpv968 Indeed an assumed risk well worth the benefit.
A little glue and it’s like New 😂
It fly’s better than store bought.
@@donlucas1631 Thanks, yes I ran a bunch of math equations during the build and again before flight when weight was final. I'll try it off grass tmro.
@@danielwoehr2733 You can tell you really did your homework and it’s built in a way that it can be fixed out in the field. That really means a lot out in the field
Awesome job! Great work!
@@saberwulfSC Hope I don't biff this one on grass tmro!
Nice!
Hehe-hehe that was cool
Wow, took it like a champ! Most any other plane with a 3dp fuse would be in fragments. Kudos to your incredible design work, especially on that pod!
Is that tiny rudder even that effective? Good editing on the Spit Fire chase.
@@foxprogt Yes that's the Aeroscout rudder chopped in half atop the AS elevator. I increased throw and it will flat turn a generous radius as well as enhance coordinated turns. Tried to make it kinda sorta scale-ish using what I had.
