Currently just documenting my speedcubing journey. I have been out of the speedcubing game for 6 years, but I would like to get back into it and see if I can break my old personal bests. There are other random clips through my video history of other interests/ hobbies I have.
3x3 11.42 Ao5 (+2 ruined sub 11 Ao5)
Mistook V perm for A perm, then stopped the timer before finishing the alg. went back and +2 the 10.65 to 12.65

2 hours of practicing new algs for dot OLL cases with S moves. these algs are much more efficient, but I've never used S moves before.

How many knives you sharped until a repacement was necessary?
Probably 10 or so, the lowest grit gets the most use and the most wear and tear, I don't think I've ever replaced the higher grits. I use the lowest grit when I have to completely reprofile the edge, which is pretty rare nowadays because I keep them stropped and touch them up with a ceramic regularly
@@chimchu3232 Thank you for the info. I have the same device, the stones are very thin. I saw a good idea, where somebody made his own bracket with a 3d printer and put his own stones inside ^^
@rostigernagel4266 yes they are diamond plates, so once the diamonds wear out they are pretty useless and need to be replaced. Regular stones last longer, but don't cut as aggressively. I've never tried an aftermarket stone holder like that, but I know a lot of people like using aftermarket parts with it
also for thee oll you got on the last alg I think R´ F´ U´ F2 U R U´ R´ F´ R is better, but thats just personal preference, I think it´s a bit faster but the alg you use is still not bad
I use the mirror of the right hand alg, I probably should learn that alg, but it's good enough for me for now
Yes, it’s pretty good
+2s don´t count at home :) jk they do, keep it up, for someone that doesn´t practise a ton of hours a day your improvment is amazing, sub 10 soon
Excuse me, can u tutorial me "How to sub 12 on rubik 3x3 by CFOP method"?
Cube name🙇🏻🙇🏻🙇🏻
Wrm V9
Nice! You’re getting better!
I haven't been practicing as much as I want to, I'd love to be sub 10 eventually
@@chimchu3232 You´re getting there, we´ll get there together, I´m stuck averaging 11-12 seconds as well lol
@RubiKubiK313 thank you! I switched to a couple algs I saw on your channel, plus I learned several S move algs, so I think once I get all the new algs down pat I'll improve again. We got this 👍
@@chimchu3232 Thanksss!! that means a lot to me and yes, we´re getting there
congratulations, a sub 12 ao12 is my current goal...
You can do it! I think my PB Ao12 is 10.6 or so. I haven't been practicing enough lately, and I learned some new algorithms so I feel like I'm slower than I used to be
so cool!!!!
can we race on cube station?
I would, but I work full time so I don't usually have enough free time. It's hard to even find time to practice some weeks, let alone race or go to competitions
Also I suggest you switch to m move U perms
I was considering learning the S move ones, It would be nice to be able to solve them from different angles
@@chimchu3232 go for it, I find s move U perms too risky but maybe i´m just bad
Another grat average! well done!
nice job 😁😁
Thank you 😊
Thank you!
wow is this your first 4x4 solve on the channel? your good
also wich 4x4 is that?
@@RubiKubiK313 it is a moyu aosu wrm. I believe it is my second 4x4 solve on the channel, I don't do other cubes a whole lot, but I like 4x4 every so often
@@chimchu3232 oh ok cool
I STARTED CUBİNG AT 14YEARS OLD I HOPE I CAN BE SUB 10
whats your age
26
nice level and vidéo !!🤩
What! Keep practicing and you’ll be sub-10 in no time, I thought you averaged like 12 seconds and you average 10!
I do average about 12-13 usually, sometimes i get lucky with a good average of 5 though
@@chimchu3232 i avarage around 12-13 seconds too amd the best ao5 id ever get is probably mid 11
I'm the first
Idk, seems like this was ai generated. How did you get the hands to turn out so realistic though?
Wow! I’ve only had 1 in my entire life, it was without auf though
That was only the 2nd time I've had that happen
Oh ok, cool, they are very rare so yeah
@RubiKubiK313 yes, super rare normally, but you can influence the last layer to make them much more likely. I knew the cross would be solved on top because the last pair was 2 Gen, if I did a 3 gen solution for the last pair it wouldn't have skipped anything. I still had no idea it would be a skip, but I knew EO would be good
I can’t really see anything coming tbh except how many edges are oriented correctly on the top, which is quite disappointing, since I average 12-13 seconds… Good job though! You’ve improved so much lately and you’re continuing to do so. You don’t even need that much time to practice and get good. (Maybe even just half an hour a day if you stay consistent). Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to see what we’ll get next from you.
This is my mini Chanel/ for animations. I subscribed with it ;) -@RubiKubik313
Keep practicing! You’re doing good
Thanks, you too!
I at least wanna learn the checkerboard case, looks waaay better than the one i do
That's a really good one. It's a rare OLL but I like that alg.
Bro how to use wide r and l in cross
I'm not sure what you mean, for cross as in the first step? This video is just olls
Do you plan your first pair in inspection?
I try to, I've been practicing it a lot. This is a guess, but I feel like I can track the first pair about 75% of the time. It's not always the easiest first pair, but at least I can move straight to it without pausing
@@chimchu3232 cool keep it up
@RubiKubiK313 will do, thanks for stopping by 😄
The dnf on the z perm lol nice job tho, almost a sub 11 ao5 too
Yes that was terrible 🤣 I forgot that was there until I edited the video. I should dnf it and see if it changes the average
Amazing bro, speed is live ❤
That 8 was really smooth. Also the long sigh when you messed up the cross on the 17 was funny, i could feel your pain there lol
Yes, I debated stopping the timer and taking a dnf 😂 luckily it was pretty easy to fix and I got 2 easy pairs to get back on track
First!
That was fast 😆
Ive never seen the oll on the 3rd solve executed from that angle
Sorry 2nd solve
@@cubeman6639 do you do the lefty fat move one? It's literally the same alg, but you execute it from the back with single slice moves instead of wide moves
for both of those OLL cases, you can do the right or left mirror wide moves (Fw R U R' U' Fw') (Fw" L' U' L U Fw) or you can do a U2 and do (F U R U' R' F') or (F' U' R' U R F) I hate the lefty wide move one, so I do the single layer turn algs, or the right wide alg
Good solving! Do you go to comps?
I haven't in a long time, I think since 2016 lol. I would like to go again soon though
yoo nice what do you avg
About 13 I would say.
yo good stuff keep it up fr
Thank you! Haven't had as much free time as I would like lately, but I'm still practicing when I can
10 with an e perm is actually ptetty crazy
Thanks! I thought the execution with AUF was pretty smooth. Still kinda slow tho haha
What methed you using?
Cfop. I wasn't even trying to skip oll it just happened
ok @@chimchu3232
Nice dude I avg sub 10 and I sometimes get 6s at home lol Got a 6.29 yesterday But my pb is 5.55 tho
Congrats! I only average 12ish, generally a really good solve for me is 8-9 seconds
Nah I average the same as you but my pb is only 8.46😥
My PB was 8.2 for over a year, it'll happen sooner or later. PB singles basically come down to luck, so keep solving and eventually it'll happen 😄
@@chimchu3232 yea I’ve only been cubing for like 16 months so ig I don’t ”deserve” an insanely lucky scramble yet
@CatBattler223 you're on track though, that's incredible progress for such a short time imo. I've been cubing since 2013, but I've taken long breaks, and I also have a full time job so progress is slow for me
@@chimchu3232 update: just got a pb of 8.21 with a sune into pll skip AND just a few solves after, an 8.12(4-move xcross with a planned 2nd pair and a free pair!!!!! PB 2 times in one day!
@@CatBattler223 let's goooo! Congrats! Do you ever record your solves on video?
Congrats😁
that look ahead 💀 my first downsolve was a 3.95 💀
Thats impressive! I didn't try to downsolve it yet, I'm sure I could get it faster though. I solved it from a better angle in the reconstruction than I did in the real solve
nice my PB is 6.58, what was the tps of your solve btw?
That's awesome, congrats 😄 It was around 4.7 TPS, pretty lucky solve only like 33-34 turns
The f2l was really smooth ngl
Thanks 😁 I should have solved the free pairs on the right instead of the left, but it worked out in my favor because the lookahead to the last 2 pairs was easier
Whoa! That's awesome!
Nice
damn bro 6.99 is crazy
Ikr! I was shocked
It's taken 2 weeks for you to update us with your latest photoshop lies? I'm guessing you must be genuinely trying on the cubing then.... not! Mwhaha haha haha
Wow
Upside down that's Mom
I hope I can solve it like you, I'm a beginner
You can! Just takes time, patience and a lot of practice.
A couple weeks Angie I went through4 comps in a row and was practicing so much. And now that they’re over I’ve only started practicing even more. I’m talking 5k solves in the past week. I’ve gotten my average from mid 12’s to around high 10 mid 11’s! Practice pays off!
5k! That is impressive, I do 500-1000 per week depending on how busy I am with work. Congrats on your progress, it's so satisfying to see your times go down
whta do you mean by ao5 and pb please explain?
Ao5 means "average of five" it's when you do 5 solves in a row, take out the fastest and slowest times, then average the remaining 3. PB means "personal best" my fastest personal times.
Ao5 means "anal on 5" the "years old" is silent. And pb is "penis blowing"
And how many TPS?
I think it was like 5.6 TPS..I think it's 43 moves

@@chimchu3232 What do you think, which one is better? GAN 12 MAGLEV, MOYU WEILONG WR M V9 or TORNADO V3M PIONEER?
@@healthyyouu personally, I don't buy or use Gan cubes. I think they are pretty good, but not worth the price. The tornado v3 pioneer is good, but I prefer the wrm v9 over the others. It's just my personal preference, I like how the v9 feels more than the v3 pioneer
