Honestly the movie did this song incredibly beautifully. But i have two issues. One i hate that they edge you on the final “So if you care to find me” verse. It felt gratuitous and out of place. I also hated that they didn’t just let the film end on her final note. Not sure how it ends in the original show since i’ve never seen it live, but i would have called the credits there

It’s so weird to think that I was in that audience! It was an amazing night!

She seems to bring a giddiness to this performance. You really see that Elphaba is a young teenager gaining her powers for the first time

I can't wait to see this in the move and I bet it'll be intercut with shots of Fiyero transforming.

I really wish they would have really belted out that “WICKED WITCH” for the announcement in the movie it’s one of my favorite parts of the song
