If you love Starbucks - you have to visit this coffee shop
I recently visited the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan and was surprised by this unique coffee experience. Located in the historic Old Post Office building in the city center, this Starbucks combines beautiful architecture with an immersive coffee roasting process.
This Starbucks Roastery is one of only six in the world and the only one in Europe, with others in New York, Chicago, Seattle, Tokyo, and Shanghai. Inside, you'll find birdcage-like benches, a traditional Italian bakery offering delicious pastries, and a fascinating green clucker board displaying a variety of single-origin coffees.

Or if your brain is working prior to coffee, you can use scissors to trim off the excess filter from around the pot. 💡Bright Idea. LLC
lol doubt anyone's brain working prior coffee
maluret ka, tol
Great👍🏽
Hi coffee lovers i have a question please answer. Can you use a big 3 cup moka pot to make only one cup of coffee? Thanks
Cagata
Aeropress filters fit perfectly
Can I brew illy coffe with french press style? or is it exclusively made for drinking espresso ?
Yes most preground coffee are also suitable for french press, moka pot and home espresso machines
lol... i'm cuban. been drinking coffee in a moka pot like this since i was a kid, likewise for my whole family and friends. you have no idea what you're doing. there are so many things wrong i don't know where to start. why would you aerate the coffee with those toothpicks? it decreases the pressure needed make nice thick espresso. so many things wrong... the filter paper... oh god, what was that?
Tragedy.
Plan to engage coffee business..trying to figure out the different types of coffee to sell.ill start with latte.. Want a simple and easy procedure yet quality coffee..thanks
Start with cappuccino/flat white, espresso, macchiato, cortado, and black, that's enough for starters I think, I should make a video about that :)
Couple of tips dont use espresso grind it needs to be courser never tamper it doing this will save you money (stop using filters the moka already has one if you actually no how to use it) also use boiled water in the bottom instead of cold water also leave lid open and take it of the stove just before it gets angry and starts spitting this will make a much better espresso or espresso base for what ever coffee your making
This lavazza via mokka pot and the aeropress is absolutely fabulous
Oh hell ye the best black coffee
I really appreciate these simple instructions. I am a visual person and appreciate someone taking the time to make video instructions. Thank you! Thank you!
You're welcome, glad I could help!
Interesting with the filter paper, will try them thanks
You're welcome! Let me know if notice a difference whether for the better or worse
@@espressodoctor been using filter paper a few times now and it does the trick, now my coffee is closer to an espresso, much thicker and has more body to it.
Love this machine! Worked for 9 years and suddenly I lost all the pressure and it required service - contacted the Company and they said that for 250 they would repair or replace the machine. Well they made good on the offer and replaced the same exact model! I've had multiple espresso machines ( all from Italy) but nothing compares to the taste of the espresso that this machine made. It is on the noisy side but the quality and taste is well worth the sacrifice of a bit of noise!
We had our machine gifted but I regret ever buying pods from Nespresso. Such a horrible company to deal with. They sent me the old small pods by mistake with an order placed over the phone. I was pretty explicit about it and even said if our phone conversations are recorded for training and quality purposes bring up our phone call. No. They were adamant they were in the right and I was wrong. $100 worth of pods I can't use and they didn't want to fix the mistake. Never again will I purchase from them. But this idea I can definitely try
Let me know if this works better
@@espressodoctor I didn't realize it but there a myriad of options available. I opted on purchasing a stainless steel pod to place your own grinds in. Screw the lid together and then place the stainless steel pod into an old Nespresso pod for the code reader. I just ordered it so I don't know how well it will work. But I will post a video about it!
So many experts, lol 🤦🏽♂️ If was necessary to suggest adding a paper filter, the long time manufacturer would have recommended it in their established specs. Filter? They would laugh at this in Italy. Seriously. A paper skirt on a Moka pot? 🤭 This is over thinking a simple process. Totally. If your coffee grinding and basic technique is pure, and is a well used, long established process, this is not necessary. It’s just your opinion.. which you are entitled to. But please.. don’t suggest this as being ‘the better way’. Are you Italian? 😂
but just try it thou
awesome - what coffee beans do you recommend? i like a strong espresso shot before the gym in the morning
Definitely Illy Intenso amzn.to/3RifXC4 or Illy Forte amzn.to/3VAu8Fn forte is stronger
❤👍👍
Is this an alternative universe?
i have the geesta reusable foil lids
I don't get 12 O'Clock pressure, I have setting 5 grinding and I get about 10 o'clock pressure. what am I doing wrong? Plus the difference between single and double filter size button that is pressure clock dial, what is that for? I set it to double and I am getting nicer coffee, and when I set single I get bitter tasting coffee.
Ok so in terms of your pressure it's most likely that your coffee is old, you need a fresh bag of coffee. And then if you use the double shot basket you need to grind enough coffee for a couple shot of espresso you can't grind a single size coffee for a double shot basket watch my latest video on how to use the machine th-cam.com/video/BnIzjrVnlgc/w-d-xo.html might help you more
Thank you ❤
You’re welcome
Nice Simple straight to the point
thanks Sally
Starbuck reserve are okay as long if more traditional and coffee enthusiast often in my opinion , i want one in Shanghai n I bought sweater n the quite nice
if you are weighing the dose, why use the razor?
Yes I forgot to mention that that step is only if you don’t have a scale to weigh out your shot
Aeropress filters fit the small moka pots.
Oh nice! Phenolic flavor… yummy
It’s actually silicone
2:56. Bitter.
Cold water??
Recomend or no ?
I have tasted Lavazza oro and Vergnano red both 100% Arabica...Vergnano is way better especially im not adding any type of sugar
You slow AF my guy
Should i use Fine grind coffe or medium grind coffe? I don’t have any coffe grinder so i’m hoping someone could give me a little insight in here.
definitely medium
and if you don't have a grinder then just buy preground espresso that's for moka like this lavazza amzn.to/4aXnez4
@@espressodoctor thx sir.
no worries, also funny username
Thanks for making this helpful video my friend! One thing I don't understand though. You carefully weigh out 18 grams of coffee, then distribute and tamp it. However after that, you scrape a random amount of coffee off the top using the scraper. So I'm wondering why you bother to weight out the coffee. Aren't you really dosing by volume (using the scraper) and not by weight?
Glad u found it helpful, you are right I should have mentioned that you should only scrape if you don’t have a scale to weigh your exact amount, it’s more for the majority of users of the barista express that don’t have a scale and probably won’t buy one and will only use the tools available from the machine
@@espressodoctor I just bought an espresso machine and it seemed a little bit less espresso than ideal, but it's adjustable. I got that right now. Now I know to do about 18g of coffee. I already have a scale since I use creatine monohydrate, which is for exercise, but I found it helps get rid of my brain fog (medications). My first two tries at frothing milk were disastrously loud, but I learned that now, too. Very tasty. Thanks.
@@CrispyCircuits take a look at my latest guide on how to use the machine I think I cover everything should help u th-cam.com/video/BnIzjrVnlgc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=y9--luHfnqaXcssw
The best Moka pot coffee that I have tasted is "Illy Moka Pot coffee". Expensive but available from Amazon, your local Italian food store, or your national Illy distributor.
my fire alarm went on cause of the coffy
Why moka coffee taste like piss? 😅
Put hot water into the pot, not cold water as it heats up the coffee and water and makes it bitter!
Caffe Carraro 1927 Crema Espresso.
HAUSBRANDT THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!❤
It was never made for cheap misers. Fyi, they also have a recycling plan.
The whole point of getting a nespresso is convenient, real quick. And you trash all of them with reusable pods.
That’s crazy no thanks.
What’s crazy?
Esta era la explicación que necesitaba!
Just get an actual espresso machine
Oh yeah I got one lol I was just trying to help the people don't
Bang me bro.
Thank you so much for this video. Super helpful and well-presented. Your time and effort is most appreciated!
Glad it was helpful!
