I think this version is actually from 1992, but they defnitly reconsidered it again in 1996 for Nine Lives and for Just Push Play they had a full production including orchestra... probably with a few variations from this version

Yall have no ideia how crazy Brazil went about this concert , even people who have never heard of Aerosmith , because rock in rio is televised in Brazil ( Chanel’s called Multi Show) so people tend to watch the performances even when they don’t know the artist, and I kid you not , twitter went crazy because of Aerosmith , people couldn’t believe they sounded so good live , everyone was amazed by the quality of their live performance, there were so many memes saying stuff like “ young artists literally can’t compete with 70 years old men😂”
