How did you arrive at D²/162 as the weight of the steel reinforcement in Kg/m? You need to be specific in your trainings to adequately guide viewers. Here is how the distributed weight of reinforcement in Kg/m is obtained as a function of the bar diameter in mm. Density of steel = 7850Kg/m³ . Now crossectional area of any reinforcement with a Diameter of 'D' in mm²= πD²/4. But area in m² = 0.000001πD²/4. Now multiplying the density in Kg/m³ by the area in m² will give you the distributed mass in Kg/m. Therefore 7850x0.000001xπD²/4 will give you D²/162.175. So the training has to be specific to aid adequate understanding. Also the lap lengths as a multiple of the bar size, you need to specify the reference code from which you obtained these information. This is in BS 8110:part 1 Table 3.27 and it is not just 40D, it is a function of the grade of concrete (28 day cube strength) and the type of bar.
Kindly note that load combinations on structures is a function of the design philosophy. From this video it appears that a British code of practice is to be adopted. If that is the case then load combinations are a function of the limit state. i.e combination factors associated with the ULS is different from those associated with the SLS. For Dead + Imposed load, the combination specified in the video above is in order as per Table 2.1, BS 8110: part 1. However, for Dead + imposed + wind combinations, the partial factor of safety of 1.0 associated with wind load is incorrect. Kindly refer to the code of practice (Table 2.1, BS 8110) for the correct factor of safety for ULS combination. Note also that the factor of safety depends on the beneficial/adverse effect of a load category when compared with another in combination (better spelt out in the Eurocode). Therefore in the design of portal framed structures and a wind uplift is in combination with dead loads, the dead load is beneficial when compared with the uplift wind. Therefore the dead load partial factor of safety is 1.0 (As per Table 2.1) and that of wind is 1.4. Combinations in a software should be prepared for both ULS and SLS. They should also be prepared for various design conditions. During installation, seismic events, etcetera

Your design should be in compliance with a referenced code of practice which would provide guidelines on the design philosophy (Limit state, working stress design or load factor design philosophy). This wasn't specified in this training. Typically, I should be expecting this to comply with relevant sections of EN 1992-1-1 as well as EN 1536 for bored piles together with specific reference to EN 1997-1. The design basis which provides guidance for the combination of loads from the superstructure under persistent, transient or accidental design conditions should comply with EN 1990. All of these weren't specified in the code. Also this software appears to describe reinforcements using the notation 'Y20 or Y16', etc. It should be noted that Y-bars are obsolete square twisted bars with inferior bond characteristics and have long been discontinued. Kindly refer to EN 10080-2005 as well as BS 4449-2005 for these specific requirements. I also watched a video where you mentioned relevant texts crucial to civil engineers, kindly refer to Mosley and bungey to EC 2, section 1.7.2 for these requirements. Finally in the design of pile caps after obtaining the loading on the piles using load combinations spelt out in clause A1.3(5) (Approach 1) of EN 1990, the pile caps are either designed based on truss analogy or flexural beam theory. None of these were specified in your training on which of the approaches the software utilises as well as the specific limitations associated with this. What is the guidance for trial sizes of the pile cap? pile thickness (based on pile size)?, spacing of piles to prevent overlap of effective vertical stress (bulb pressure) which reduces single pile efficiency, etc. these were not specified in the training. Kindly address
