Been there last September. My Wife and i fell in Love with that Town! ❤ Nice Video. (Terrible Music though, sorry)
This brings me peace .
I have made this drive more than a dozen times since 1994. That part of Wyoming is where I feel at home for some reason. Home is here in KY but Wyoming calls to me.
I lived there for 6 months while working for the railroad; I loved that town.
Stay out of Wyoming especially you California people leave us alone all of you stay out of Wyoming everyone else stay out of Wyoming
Very cool tyvm for sharing
I-80 runs east-west. Torrington-Burns is a north-south drive.
In 2007, my kids and I got caught in a white out fog on a mountain pass close to Cheyenne. We were surrounded by semis and all I could see were their tail lights and running lights as we drove around curves at about 40 mph. We were driving back to Tampa from Seattle. I said I would never take I-80 again. Prior to that we went through a massive tumbleweed storm in Idaho. What a trip.
Show me some ⚡ and tornadoes!
Natures best variety in Wyoming.
Dueling banjos
It was a great little town.
It was very bad. Camera was no good and peon who took video was not very good. Anyone can look around and point a camera. I lived there 70 and71. Did not see anything I remember.
Correction: Misleading Title. You can't get from Torrington to Burns on I-80. I-80 doesn't go to Torrington and as a matter of fact, it doesn't even go to Burns from anywhere. It passes about 10 minutes to the south of town. Google it. St. Hwy 85 to County Rd. 213. Why would you try to mislead people?
Misleading title. You can't drive from Torrington to Burns on I-80. You'd have to take State Hwy 85 south to County Rd. 213. As a matter of fact I-80 doesnt' even go THROUGH Burns. It passes by about 10 minutes to the south of town.
This is really cool!
Looks like a lovely quiet town .
307!
As always a great video tyvm for posting
This is really amazing
My grandparents has the lumber yard on the left side of the road when you cross the railroad tracks. Looks like the building is empty now. R&M lumber
Came through here three times in my life on my way to Buffalo, beautiful drive but also a very scary one for me
This is a lame view of worland ..I live here..and everyday I can see the bighorns..
Any guesses on what time or day this video was recorded? I've never seen it this quiet. There's not even a car at Goose's 😅😅
I never knew about this. Sounds peaceful 😌
Beautiful area. Do you ever get to Colorado rocky mountains trail ridge road over to winter park
Wyoming scenery so beautiful.
would you stay and film the geyser erupt?
looks like a beautiful little town
Welcome to my hometown. A pice of paradise. Having a home where the buffalo roam and the deer and antelope play. Poker LoL.
Sad lonely story
I love Torrington. Been there a few times looking for farm ranch property Found the perfect place but my wife got cold feet about moving from Indiana, now she says why didn't make her move. Deacons restaurant has the best beef liver and onions bar none
I left Torrington after high school and haven’t been back. That was 32 years ago. Looks different. It makes me smile to see The Mint, The Bronco, Vandel Drug’s, and all those churches still going. Thanks for the nostalgic memories.
It’s a great town. Love the guitar music in the beginning of the video 👍
There must not be much development emerging yet anywhere in Meeteetse area. The video does reflect that as the driver is doing his drive thru the straight paved highway and no commercial infrastructure to be seen on both sides of the road. We're not seeing any existing housing compound, or fast-food chains; nor commerce for instance, on this looong road-trip. Wyoming is one of those very rare state in America, which is not fully developed yet -- due widely to a reduce number of crowds or population, but she appears good to go now for any takers who want to permanently settle in a rural state like the state of Wyoming. I've heard it's another Homestead Program for this state. For sure, Community Developers are much sought after for Wyoming still today. Come and get her yogis! Stay away from the unknown and diabolical environment -- there seems to be so much sinister schemes in our time. God bless all and enjoy your merry-go-round. aug2023
That's my state !
This is low-key crazy to see. But, very humbling. Welcome to torrington.
Big skies there...
I worked at Phil Kuka farm cleaning the beet fields can you give me information on his farm it was in 1967
i remember my drive on Bighorn on the 4th of July weekend 2019, it was such a beautifuld drive and a scary one too at the top, just as i crossed the intersection, the clouds opened up and it was a mix of snow and rain at the top - was some of the most scary yet breathtaking scenes i ever saw , and to drive over the mountains across the clouds, it was a surreal experience. One of the perks of living in wyoming - you get to experience it more than once 🙂
Hurry up
I hear outsiders driving through to Yellowstone are often pulled over for going 2-5 miles over the speed limit.
Thanks. I hope to visit Thermop this summer.😀
Thanks for this video. My family and I visited for the first time August 2022. Driving in along the Buffalo Bill Byway along the Shoshone East of the Park. Spent 18 hrs doing a lot in a little amount of time along with 5 hrs of shut-eye. Drove part & all of Chief Joseph Byway up to Beartooth Hwy WY-212 in the afternoon and during sunrise the next day. Walked along Sheridan Ave and shopped, ate at Cody Steakhouse, which was great and took in a little of Buffalo Bill’s Museum. I hope to return sometime in 2024. Stayed at Big Bear Motel good place. Pony rides-lol Check em. 🐎🗻🌄
I lived there and there is alot more than just that main highway. The college, the DMV, the main street stores, This n That n Thensome... etc.
I’m from Chicago and when we drive to El Paso i take my sweet time driving this highway
