Staying Creative Without A Film Project: Tips And Tricks
This guy is awesome
Jesus is the answer
It's about time the issue gets addressed there is one you left out . Well in Slc UT the cost of everything is way to high and the pay is way to low . People can't afford to live
Here in okc we practice the housing first model. We still struggle with our unsheltered friends
It's good to hear about the work being done in OKC.
They give metadon in Norway and morfin tabelets in different forms . I got my own apartment ,car ,cabin, dog. I am fine . All my frends are dead but them who want to live ,live.
Thanks for your input. Was a great episode to learn more about all of this.
They're also. So many people who just financially can't afford to maintain housing end up living in their cars, couch Surfing with their children. Or living on the street, but it has nothing to do with the drug dynamic and everything to do with Unsustainable housing costs. And the jobs people have not giving raises not keeping up with the cost of living an inflation😊
Thanks for this. Very helpful input.
Hey, people who aren't ready to get clean yet deserve to have places to live too.
Yes they do BUT when (and I'm speaking from experience with multiple addict friends as well as my parents) they will tell you that while they are on drugs it's easy to have a place to sleep if you're getting high with someone who has a place to sleep. And most of the time they don't notice that they're actually homeless until they decided to get clean
35% mental health lins shut down LTC..65% drug addiction.
Yeah I ran into the first really bad mental illness case that I've seen in my life. Genuinely don't know what to do with him. The guy lives in his car for at least the last few years, has CPTSD, and was the first human being I've ever heard to tell me that he is the 2nd coming of Jesus as well as believing he will be the next president. He isn't super old. He isn't mean...but paranoia and constantly lies about so many things ... Too dangerous to keep contacting, and tomorrow is veterans day
nice
The movie Rising From Ashes is eye opening and a must see. Bikes were a tool of survival during the genocide. Rwanda should be an example of reconciliation and healing for the rest of the world. I have friends who lived there for several years and they always said how beautiful the land and people are. Can’t wait to watch Wheels of Mercy.
Found your interview via Jack's Post on AOD Facebook group... Congratulations on your successes...
Love the dirt too! No more concrete!
Still ride better Mtn bikes after sheep and goats. Fun times and lots of goats heads to flatten the tires.
Grew up on 2 wheels and made our own bikes. Removed the banana and sissy bar and replaced with 10 speed seat. Rode the heck out the dirt packed jumps and even flipped when it wasn't cool.
The question is “Where can they find you” and I’m sitting here while bro is listing his whole calendar and not telling me where he’s located 💀
Good catch! It would be in The description . Let me know if you can’t find it.
Ok, lemme go to the full video and not this short ty!
I love photography. Don’t understand it Can’t remember words and things I look and snap I used to get so excited to drop off a roll and look through so fast to see if I at least got one perfect shot
Thanks for having me!
Thanks for doing this! Super interesting and inspiring
This is incredibly valuable information, thank you! I'm actually finalizing my research for the premiere of my social change documentary on May 10th. I'd be honored to share it with you and get your feedback, especially since this is my first major project. Is there a way i can get in touch with you?
Love to see it.
Great watch and very motivational!
1st case before any - Can I work with the person.? They can be technically brilliant, have great shots and know all the gear - but if they treat others poorly, have a sense of entitlement that leeches out and lastly, becomes a mood hoover to those around - no. Just no.
Good perspective.

TC and Kristen, exactly as you've said it, you made your World Premiere a slam dunk for Crested Butte. Thank you for all the work you put into it, for your great film, and for connecting our community with your community that you so well-documented in your film. Let's do it again!
This is such a great way to share how to do a world premiere in a first class way.
Thanks I want to check our your site!

Thank you for this. I saw so many parallels between this and my work and to see what you have been able to do with it is truly inspiring! 🙏
Thanks! I was reluctant to post this but I'm proud of the story for where I was at the time. This little film was what launched me into full time impact documentary filmmaking. Crazy how life works! BTW I hope you get a chance to see In The Dirt.I think you will really like that one. www.inthedirtfilm.com That one is releasing now!
@@TCJOHNSTONE I actually saw In The Dirt back in December after a friend of mine shared a link to the free preview. It was awesome and that film was ultimately what led me here.
@@ArtFalcon Thats awesome!
Is there a way to watch this yet?
Yes sir. Www.inthedirtfilm.com
Watching this tonight! Used to live in Gallup and that area has so much to celebrate. Thanks for sharing!

Great interview! Jordan, thank you for what you are doing to raise the awareness about this unjust war Russia waging against Ukraine! 🙏🏼 T.C. thank you for bringing attention to Jordan’s work and “Ukraine under fire” documentary! 🫂
You're welcome. It was and gift to learn more and THANK YOU being willing to share your story..
Worth every second to listen to. Jordan your work is important to freedom for the people of Ukraine and free democratic countries and those struggling to become free.
Unfortunately? Lmao
Should have said thankfully
lol I thought you were talking about the drink body armour
Then you are a schmohawk
“Unfortunately there’s a lot of those in the United States” yeah well fortunate for you dumbass lol
LOL 500-1000 USD is a lot of money for a journalist who wants to do their job in a war zone? I guess you value your life very little
Nothing about being a foreign correspondent is cheap. You need equipment, travel money, often hired security and/or guides, transportation, often your own food and other survival supplies, filming equipment etc. Armor is damn near the cheapest component of that.
Unfortunately there are a lot of options to buy body armor in the United States? What? You’re insane if you think that’s a bad thing or the government should have a say in anything you buy
