If the dog glitches out and can't find the treasure, try buying changing its breed by buying a dog breed potion from the marketplace by the river. In my case it did that both on the bandit road and the grotto cave because of all the enemies.

This is such a dumb mechanic. 85%of all the foods and drinks available in the game for healing make you fat, and only ONE item makes you thinner, and it's not always available.

Is there an easier way? Venders only sell 1-2 for me and i didnt realise eating other foods adds on fatness until i gained -17

The payoff for this quest wasn't much worth my while. The reward for good ending is 50k, but that was peanuts compared to the 75k I make each 12 hours of real time. Not even an achievement for all your trouble. But thanks for the vid. Really helped me out. :)
