Hello, I’m new to your channel. This is the first video I’m watching, 5th May, 2024. So idk if you have already but, may I recommend the band Breaking Benjamin? They’re rather similar to Evanescence in a way. Like if Breaking Benjamin had a female vocalist, you’d get Evanescence and if Evanescence had a male vocalist, you’d get Breaking Benjamin. Very very similar. And if you are willing to give Breaking Benjamin a try, I’d start with the song Dear Agony. Dear Agony, in my honest opinion, Dear Agony by BB and Hello by Evanescence are both equally true. So yes I recommend Breaking Benjamin with Dear Agony being first. I’ll also add that, since you’ve listened to Saint Asonia you must know who Adam Gontier is? Benjamin and Adam did a collaboration to Breaking Benjamin’s song Dance with the Devil. So that’s something to keep in mind, so if you haven’t, please do give Breaking Benjamin a try 🙏

I don’t dive in to a lot of evanescence info, I just listen to the songs. Ofc I know who Amy Lee is but I had no idea Hello was about her sister. That makes the song even sadder and compared to Bring me to Life and My Immortal, underrated. Hello needs more. Such a powerful song, and now that I know… a powerful and true song in her life. This song needs more population. But at the end of the day, it’s not about population, it’s about feeling. I never had a sister but I know what it’s like to lose loved ones. So I feel for Amy Lee and her voice and feel in the song breaks my heart every single time. God bless her. She is a living, breathing Angel

There was a issue with Atlantic Records Brent's record label with Shinedown apparently Shinedown released another single that they thought they were done. Atlantic Records wouldn't allow the song to compete with Shinedown's song. So Brent told them to go with another singer.

it wasn't written by the rev, but rather by m shadows. tho it was clearly inspired by his heart condition, his struggle to keep living on despite his constant suffering/pain (which, sadly, didn't last for much longer after the fact). looking back to it, however, it gets easier to understand better why he did what he did. the mixing is fine actually, most likely was from a low quality upload
