Jon Mundhenk is a Motocross rider, who has spent most of his life traveling from race track to race track since a young age, with the purpose to be one of the best riders amongst many.
Most riders will face a more severe crash at some point in their career. When it comes to being a professional, the main focus is on getting back on the bike as soon as possible. After his crash, during a year-long recovery and the absence of the permanent thrill and adrenalin, Jon began to question the results-oriented dynamics and the high-pressure environment of pro sports. He started to ask himself what other ambitions in life he has and encountered the struggle of how to identify as a young man without the glory of being one of the best riders at the track.
