    Sorry to say, but usual leak comes from coolant pipe, under intake manifold, which has this "L" shape connector, coolant going to rear to heater core!!! And you did not change that at all??? You can actually replace that without taking intake manifold out, just take throttle body and alternator out!!! Just saying.......you are doing lots of work here....for nothing??

  • @Eeropolvasti
    @Eeropolvasti 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you had coolant leak, under manifold, in that L-shape connection, you can replace that by just taking alternator, and throttle body out, you can fit hand in there and replace it, you DON't have to take intake manifold out!! Just saves lots of time !!!!

    when you replaced the manifold gasket did u use a gasket sealant

    • @victormendoza6089
      @victormendoza6089 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      rivera martinez I apologize for the late reply. I didn't use a sealant, if the surface is smooth and does not have dents or deep scratches a sealant is not required. The sealant is mostly used to either replace the gasket or assist the gasket in preventing leaks due to dent or scratches on the part your replacing. I can assure you that I didn't used a sealant and I don't have a single leak in the vehicle.

    • @Eeropolvasti

    hey victor, do one of the coolant temperature sensor. thanx in advance

    • @victormendoza6089
      @victormendoza6089 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Martin I'm out of state right now. but I can tell you exactly how to do it. the intake manifold does have to be remove to gain access to the temp sensor. once it's removed you'll see the sensor in the right bank(passenger side) of the engine. you can see it in the video at 7:38mins. all you do is press the tab in the middle to remove the electrical connection and then get a wrench of the appropriate size and simply unscrew it off. make sure you drain the cooling system before you do if not then coolant will be in your engine bay. and to install it back just screw the new one in and just hand tight, don't over torque it! plug the electrical connection and and reassemble it. I do apologize that I don't have a video but I'll make one as soon as I return to the mustang. I sure hope that this description I gave you helps. if there's anything else I can do just let me know. thank you for your support

    You can inspect the gaskets to verify that they are still good. But I recommend that you change them depending on the amount of miles you have on your vehicle. I had 87k when I changed them. Gaskets are like $16-$18
