I bought a used blue bird 13 h.p. honda engine walk behind. It wasn't 20 yrs old but it was a daily rental, so it had been driven hard, it looked new at the time. It has lasted 6 yrs and has worked great doing jobs like yours. I think I would like yours better though. Keep it greased and sharpen the teeth and it will last. Thanks for responding to my comment on the Split fire 5 inch wood chipper. I figured it was too small but do you find it useful? Sometimes these small machines can be more effort than they are worth.
