Happy to see another Skyrim video! About your questions: 1) Yea the menu aint the normal Skyrim one but it's fine honestly those are some soft mods u can keep them and It wont ruin your experience, personally my first playthroughs on console and then on PC i havent use any mod just to get the achivements for the Platinum xD but u shouldnt care about that so its perfectly fine 2) I think the Skyrim ambience sound is super relaxing but i can imagine that edit a full hour of video to turn on and off the audio constantly can be kinda annoying and take off lot of time, so up to you i personally enjoy this playthroughs and audio or not i find It really chill and relaxing, I think ambience sound add something more to the video but it's not needed I hope this feedback can help! survival mode was added quite recently in an anniversary update and the default option is to have it off. its up to you but for a first playthrough i'd turn it off because it can make the game quite tricky. Its the reason you're struggling so much.

Survival mode didn't come until later, the original Skyrim there was no survival mode. If it's your first time playing I wouldn't have it on honestly.
