I definitely feel like I've finally hit my limit. I think further is barely possible but the amount that you need to go your way is just insanity inducing. This run already had incredibly rare RNG and I made very few mistakes.
Final Planner: Changes are for more survivability, maintaining ice armor uptime on trash became a problem sometimes and it's worth more dps due to storm swell double dip than just getting more additive, I probably would go for more additive if I had GA life on pants and had tempered max life instead of warmth. Also picked up 3/3 align elements, it helped a lot in the case that my barriers did break.
Had a lot of fun this season and thanks for the kind comments on all of my clears. ggs

Further improved paragon board by adding a focus on elite damage since it's essentially just incredibly efficient nonphys for elites which allowed me to have much more consistent one shots on trash and bosses are considered elites as well as far as I'm aware. I know the timer looks nice and all but it's more of a trash problem at this point, you need so much RNG to go your way along with precis...

Despite what the timer was this run was insanely difficult to complete. Almost every single boss shatter is hitting for around 1-2T and the trash is becoming nearly impossible because to get the packs to die in one shatter is very tight. Made some paragon changes. Dropped pyromaniac for unleashed because I realized pyro is only scaling burn but unleashed scales the shatter as well. Still not certain if I like it more than control, control was really nice for trash but I figure that only maybe 1/3 or 1/4 of my boss shatters are staggered idk if it will help enough or if it scaling the burn on boss adds alone is worth. 158 might ...

Incredible man! What are most important stats on sword adnd gloves? And how high rolls on aspects are neccesery?
Aspect is most important on both, I'd try to get max aspect even if you can only afford no GAs. After max aspect I would probably get Gloves: Double Cast > Pyro Skills > AS, don't need firewall size Sword: Skills > BAS > Stats, don't need max resource

Bro I"ve been studying your technique on Res Malice for close to a week, and for shiz and gigs I went back to watch mekuna play spirit on a 150 clear.... Bro... the damage you get out of her @10:04 in the video is literally tripple any amount I saw mekuna take off of spirit at a 150 clear, we're talking 18 LEVELS and you nearly chop off what almost appears to be a full inch of health pool to the naked eye. It isn't even comparable, i had to rewatch it so many times
It's difficult to get huge shatters until very high pits where mobs have enough HP to apply a full burn and spam fireball without them dying before CC timer ends. I think the first shatter was even bigger but for real those def had to be the biggest boss shatters I've ever hit, probably hit for like 7 or 8T
@@voidseerxd OMG I feel dumb! that makes perfect sense! more health pool, bigger capacity to pre load, and not short change the fireball spam, no wonder I was feeling myself that fighting a boss on 150 vs even 155 feels like a noticable difference, my brain wasnt wrapping up what was happening because it felt easier, and does hit harder, I just thought my comfort was tighter so I was ultimately performing tighter, but I def look back and it felt noticably different to me, even in that smaller sample size. Im no where near where you are, but that is such an odd paradigm shift for a build, it's kind of awesome.

I've tried to replicate this build, the damages are really really good but i often end up getting one shot by an enemy and dying. How do you manage to not die with this build ?
I still die a lot but tons of CDR to keep ice armor up as much as possible is big one I think
@@kylerichings3065 It's a very squishy build, you basically have to know what can kill you and flame shield it or be evasive with teleports.

Control glyph is only active when enemies are CC'd so it doesn't affect shatter damage directly. It does work for when boss is staggered but they are too infrequent to get significant value out of. Also, because this build has low additive from gear, the additive on paragon board is pretty effective and you have to lose out on a lot of it. Losing out on elite damage which is super efficient and works on bosses as well as the extra survivability that I mentioned helps ice armor uptime (massive dps increase) is just too painful.

your solo runs, on what I would call is "BAR NONE", the hardest build to clear with, is literally unprecedented, you are a living legend, mate! I' am happy for you, at the same time a little sad, with 200 gone in two weeks, I have to wonder how far away from 200 you possible could have been with a support zdps comp... but I digress and cheers on the greatest runs NO person will ever topple, this man is NOT human!

@@voidseerxd Ok that's good to know, not sure if you have said it before but can you explain the basic gameplay loop? Teleport in Fire wall up, spam fire bolt until frozen then spam a little more then spam fireball til explode?
@@kylerichings3065 Thats the basics of it, it's important to remember the following though: 1. CC timer for elites is 5s, for normal/champions 9s. You have to finish your rotation before this timer ends. 2. Generally you want to send at least 3-4 fireballs minimum to get a decent shatter. 3. If both of the previous conditions are going to be met then applying as much burn as possible will also add massively to your shatter.

@@kylerichings3065 if you're at around 140 I would suggest spamming firewall while you group the adds up for your teleport resets until you're sure they'll all get cleaved by flameweaver firebolts. It's very easy to apply too much burn on one particular add if you only group with firebolt, this will make your shatter weak. Remember that the CC timer is 9s for boss adds so you have a lot of time to just group up with firewall. Boss adds have very low HP until very high pit tiers so make sure you're not killing them with the burn and you're able to use enough fireballs before they die.
There was a moment where you hit the fireball repeatedly. Why? I don't know much about sorc and fire bolt build.
You must fireball to harvest the burn, also it double dips.

How many total ranks do we need of glass cannon to push 140-150? I have a bad habit of dying so im a little worried about the tradeoff 😂
the bosses don't do much damage so it doesn't really matter there (unless you're eating shade stacks), and it will make you a bit squishier on trash but once you learn how to one shot them it's safer than not having ranks

In a boss fight, how many times should I shoot Firebolt before using Fireball?
My rule of thumb is applying burn is good but to make sure you always get around 3-4 fireballs minimum before they shatter. If the adds have very high health (156+ ish) you can start to apply full 6s burn and the remaining time on fireballs (can be upwards of 12 depending on how quickly you grouped them up).

Way to go! I literally just got GA attack speed Starless after a crazy crazy grind for it. Going to do some hordes and try to triple master work everything and will update to match your newest planner and see what happens 😁

I think 170 is probably the theoretical cap, but at that point you would probably need about a 1 in 1k runs RNG and never make a mistake.
+2 Tiers is 1.1225^2 more HP => 26% more HP, so 1 Minute left is not enough :) With insane fishing it might be possible, but it is sooo frustrating to farm Runeshards these days that it is most likely not worth the time investment. Insane accomplishment though!
@@Zaramos666 With absolute giga RNG you could probably get a 12:30-12:20 enter boss room, then get malice with perfect shade rng(rare phase 2 no shade) and get optimal dps on every shatter haha. It's so hard to get perfect shatters every time though, raiment is fickle. 12:30 enter boss room is like 1 in 150 runs though, then 1 in 11 boss. Straight lottery before even mentioning perfect play lol.

It's quite gear dependent so first I would check out the planner and make sure you have similar gear to the starter setup (tab bottom left). Then it's all about creating the shatter; group up mobs in as few teleports as you can, firewall, apply burn with firebolt and make sure you're positioning the clump for flameweaver aspect, then use fireballs (at least 3, likely more) to shatter them before the CC timer runs out. CC timer for elites is 5s, 9s for normal/champions.

if the season was a standard 3 months I probably would have but it's very time consuming i'm still trying to clear 168 for my final run if I can get it at all.

I wouldn't suggest this build for anything but pit pushing and uber boss killing. If you insist on this build for general content I would probably use a paragon board like this: maxroll.gg/d4/planner/os1qk0dv Even still, running a lot of ranks of glass cannon and having minimal defensive aspects you will have to play careful against some things (desecrators hit really hard in hordes). What I do is just respec to lightning spear for other types of content since it's turn off brain and almost impossible to die, then spec back when I play pit.

fireball is used to harvest all of your burning damage to make for a big shatter, you will want to use anywhere from about 2-9 fireballs depending on how much time you have before the mobs go unstoppable (elite mobs in 5s, normal/champs in 9s)

@@howru3q it will depend but on attack speed but for elites you'll want to firebolt for around 2-3 seconds then spam fireball until they explode. You always want to cast at least a few fireballs at the end that's what makes the big shatter
idk im pushing pit since 2weeks,stuck at 148 since 5-6days with ls..i tought ill just swap to this build so i could beat 150...well i cant even kill few packs in 148 with this..idk what am i doing wrong :(
with 2ga (aspd basicskill) 200% verathiel 4ga 93% flameweaver 3ga raiment etc..
FYI, this build is very difficult to play, IF your gear isn't fully optimized and you must be playing on mouse and keyboard. Controller players can't pixel pull, which makes the build harder to use. Not everyone can play this build and be successful with it. Well done Void

As far as I know the build hasn't been nerfed. It really depends on what ends up being most important in the new content, because while this build is strong for pit pushing it is sort of relatively inefficient for other types of game modes. Also the essentially endless pit scaling seems to have been rescaled, I've seen PTR footage of people speed running the max pit level so we'll see if it retains relevancy.
Sorry for all the comments and hope its ok, is the huge focus on cooldown mostly for the evade/teleport or to help keep ice armor and flame shield up or something else im missing?

@@kylerichings3065 CDR is multiplicative and hard caps at 75%. You only need about 65%(maybe even slightly less, depending on evade CDR roll on boots). That's why on the planner I have masterworks on nonphys/int for a couple items because I already have enough CDR to function that i'd rather have more damage.

definitely not immortal i just flame shield the things that would actually kill me

you can if you're dead set on it, it's just hard to recommend when it's so easy to respec to lightning spear even with bad gear and just delete everything on the screen
Yeah just going to use my rogue to run hordes, so do the massive amounts of cooldown on this build help keep flame shield up for survival?

i think you should be okay with any resource roll, unleashed+fiery surge+mana roll on boots+conj mastery should be enough, although restore mana is the best

You can play any build you want but I would say this is not a casual friendly build, I would suggest lightning spear for that.
question I'm fully geared on this, exception being the attack speed ga starless, Ive been trying for 2 weeks just cant get one, have a double lucky hitt, crit(useless) but i tripplecrit it and tossed it on. Anyways my gear is quite literally close to perfectrion, outside of the ring, and my pyro tempers for AS are a little meh, but I am .3% away from reaching 13 frame asp. I have a perfect roll on cast trwice on my focus and i hitt that twice and int one time. how important is being in side the 13 frame attack speed, should i sacrifice the one hit on intelligence and throw it on my mediocre Pyro AS temper to resolve the .4 or keep it as is. Just curiuos how important being in 13 bracket is
13 frame is pretty nice but it's not necessary for pushing. you'll be down about 7% fewer attacks(less damage, less teleports) but in the grand scheme it's not a big deal unless you are really pushing the timer to the limit. As goes for any gear levels with this build it's always important to try to find the balance of as few teleports as possible but also recognizing when teleporting more will produce more damage by positioning the mobs better or pulling in more mobs for more fireball enchant procs. Without GA Starless you'll be locked to 13 frame, my friend Puz did some frame testing and found the 14 frame cap to be 164.3, i'd try to aim for that.
@@voidseerxd i re mastered it and noticed a huge difference, I reached 157 with LS, I hoped into 150 to give it a test run as I have put aside playing with the shatter sorc, cause i have been switching back and fourth on one sorc two gear setups(complete nightmare lmao) but in the 150 test i was vaporizing everything, and could evade at will. I playedd firebolt last season, I actually did my 150 with it, so I'm pretty familiar with the style and pool up of mobs, but your video gave me a great idea with my bindings that has essentially already felt GAME changing, binding evade to right right click... I never even thought about it, and it's just a godsend. i am now in 13frame bracket after hitting the master on that pyro once, I will keep trying for the ring, so I can switch back to the int, but evade right click has never made me feel so comfortable with my other binds. funny how such a small change can literally make a build go from a clunkfest feeling to right at home!
also to add my current AS right now is 168.8
@@voidseerxd Just wanted to let you know, I finally got the ring! switched the MW back to int for the 22 extra points of minmax, class feels AMAZING. Have to play perfection to not die, but that's partially what I like too, it's actually a challenege.
@@constantinople2837 congrats, yeah i don't really get why the build gets so much hate, i think it's really fun. it's annoying dealing with raiment TP bug but aside from that it feels like there's a lot more skill expression than just holding down a button and mashing my cooldowns like a lot of other build options
I see you’re always going with malice, is there a reason not spiritcaller?
malice adds are just way more consistent to get a good shatter on, to get the same value shatters on spiritcaller he has to spend a lot of the fight near the entrance where the adds spawn because the mobs can desync if he's too far away. That and he moves around a lot more and there are more mechanics you have to dodge. Spiritcaller probably has the most potential but is so RNG it will almost never happen.
