I came across a well organised deer hunt using hounds on early morning on New Year's day just a few years before lockdown. This was in Cropton Forest in North Yorkshire. There must have been 8 or 9 4WD's- some top of the line Range Rovers. Plenty of it going on.

1) Anyone with knowledge of how a hunt operates (& I've got over 40 years of that knowledge), will tell you that the hounds in this video are 100% NOT following a "trail". 2) Landowners are lied to time & time again by these scum who obtain permission by promising they'll be "trail hunting" & then do nothing of the sort. A comprehensive ten year survey conducted by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), concluded that of all the registered hunts in England, less than 1% have switched to legal trail hunting since the introduction of the 2004 Hunting Act which banned the hunting of wild mammals with dogs. In other words, the vast majority are sticking two fingers up to the law & continue to hunt foxes with impunity. They are nothing more than organised criminal gangs riding roughshod through the countryside & to hell with anyone or anything that gets in their way.

So what did they do wrong?
