Hi Fabrizio, yes you can find these metal Portal axles on AliExpress. Just search for MN metal Portal axles. At the time of the video it had 12mm hex adapter on they make the car 1,5cm wider on each side. Metal driveshafts and WPL C54 shocks we're my first upgrades. @@AlphamenschRC About the wheel adapters.. I had taken 12mm ones for the rear and 8mm ones for the front... as you also know the original 168 has a wider track at the front than at the rear unfortunately, about 3mm... and so with the adapters I would have widened the track and also compensated for differences... but then I didn't mount them anymore... I noticed that in the package they put 2mm pins which therefore wouldn't be good for 168 but perhaps for other rc 1/10 like Traxxas or maybe Tamiya which maybe have a 2mm hole on the shaft... and they also put ridiculous 1.5 pins... as you know the 168 has a small 1.5 hole on the shaft, which is a small diameter shaft, I think 3mm... and however I saw that the 1.5 pins have too much play on the 12 adapters which are made to contain both the 2mm and 1.5 pins... and in my opinion the machine would have had too much total play on the wheels, so I think with inaccurate driving and vibrations and premature wear of the parts... currently I'm still evaluating whether to widen the holes of the original shafts to 2mm or even just 1.8... since in the meantime I also purchased some 1.8 pins... actually I think that widening the holes from 1.5 to 2mm on a 3mm diameter shaft could certainly compromise its resistance...

@@AlphamenschRC I currently have the 168 configured with the famous rims like yours but white, which therefore already have an offset compared to the originals... then I mounted the 56 gram brass counterweights/spacers at the front and which have a thickness of 9mm... while at the back with the same rims, to compensate for the width of the track I mounted another pair of spacers from those rims taken from 2 other rims, obviously with longer bolts... in total on a rear wheel I obtained a widening of 12 (6 + 6) .. and now the front and rear tracks have the same width... in total the tracks are now 18.5 wide instead of the 16.5 of the original 168... and I must say that I got a bit of what I wanted, but I haven't tried the car outside of the house yet... when climbing it now climbs 51 degrees without tipping over.. and when leaning sideways it tips over no earlier than 50 degrees instead of the 46 of before.. 🙂
