not everyone is rich to afford better cpu. In his case atleast he can grab a i5 12th gen secondhand, with a bit of saving. In my case and many others, we are stuck with an i5 12th (equivalent to i3 on desktop + ecores) and no way i'm spending 1200 euros for only a cpu upgrade, i rather cap fps and wait for 5000 series and some bills to end and make a pc again)

this lastest games are cpu hungry for no reason, like they are mining something in the background, i capped fps at 30fps (Without cap the cpu was getting 60fps at very high) and even then my cpu was 90 degrees, while i was in 75ºC on dragon ball sparking zero with 60fps and more cpu usage. Something is really off with some games and in cpu you can't scale back settings like you do on gpu.

en su caso? si, puede poner un i5 por "poco" dinero. En mi caso tendria que comprar un portatil nuevo, basicamente mi procesador es el equivalente a este i3 más aparte los ecores, aunque si que es verdad que algun fps mas rasco, en mi caso tengo una 4060, por lo que pagar 1200 euros para solo mejorar el procesador es tirar el dinero, el siguiente tier que merece la pena dar el salto es una 4080, un portatil con un i7 hx y una 4080 se va a 2200 euros, mejor capo los fps a 40 o 30 y a tirar, hasta que me haga una torre de nuevo. La mierda es que en algunos juegos los 4 nucleos ecore que tengo si los usa, y tengo fps equivalentes a un i5, (spiderman remastered) en otros simplemente los ignora como warzone, osea podria tener el rendimiento de un 6 core si el software de los juegos estuviera bien optimizado para usar ecores

@@albertotrigosbueno5547 Lo mejor en este caso es no comprar portatiles por el mismo motivo, mientras tanto en pc (torre) es más economico cambiar y mantener las piezas, el salto de un cpu de 4 nucleos a 6/12 hilos es enorme, recuerdo cuando juegos tipo assasins creed origins/oddysei y entre otros juegos de mundo abierto, la CPU (con una 2060) siempre iba entre 70%-90% de uso mientras que la gpu a penas llegaba a los 75% de uso
