Sedation is a luxury a vast majority of people around the world dont get to have during surgery. While your sutuation is horrible and unwanted, your reactions were related to your anxiety. Re-align your expectations with reality and you might find your anxiety disappears some what.

In Canada, if you wake up during a harsh procedure and show damages, you can sue for malpractice most of the time. If you show damages, such as mental distress, and the pain you have been feeling, you have a good case. I would talk to a local attorney about options to move forward. Hope you feel better!

I was in an abusive relationship for 4 years where the guy did absolutely nothing for me. I’m now in a healthy sane relationship with a new guy and 3 months in for my birthday he made cookies, and really nice ones too, he also made one that looked like Shrek ( because we love him) and he made a couple of heart shaped ones. It was such a small thing but even now it makes me want to cry and it made me feel seen, wanted, loved and mean the world to me, all that to say ladies, if he truly wanted to he would.
