My finances grandmother is giving her one of these so I decided to look them up because I didn't even know what they were. I can play the drums, played saxophone all through school, and I pick around on guitar. I'm excited to attempt to learn this instrument.

Thank you for posting this. I've played guitar for years and my wife has dabbled in the lap dulcimer. I've been thinking of learning to play as something we could do together and this is really inspiring. I'm learning just how versatile this instrument can be!
