So wonderful to be able to attend the service in remote Joshua Tree CA. Not many churches here and NO Christmas Eve services to attend. Beautiful job by everyone!!!! Ray Stubblebine

This is NOT a test. This is the actual service for Christmas Eve at 8 PM at Kingston Parish/ Christ Church. Beautiful time of worship together!

We were scheduled to stream the 8AM Service with the Choir at Christ Church, but the internet was not up to it, so it was recorded and we have broadcast this 1030AM Service at Kingston Chapel. The 8am service has now also been posted on the TH-cam home page.

We are posting the Advent 1 Rite 1 Service at Christ Church. We attempted to stream it unsuccessfully, but we recorded it and now it is posted. The Choir participated in this service.

Sorry, but audio problems affected the beginning of the service. We were forced to reboot and join the service after it started.

About halfway through Father Gary's sermon the stream starts to break up, becoming increasingly un-listenable. We are offering the 10:30 service this week also, because of these technical difficulties.

Too bad there is so much talking during the lovely prelude

This recording has been substituted for the live stream broadcast which died because the internet went down at the 36 minute mark. This is the complete service for August 27, 2023.

The concert was recorded in Quadriphonic sound, but for TH-cam needs to be mixed in stereo. The front two divisions should be in the left and center stage and the antiphonal pipes in the rear should appear in the right channel. If you can, listen with headphones or good speakers. Thanks to all the artists and performers who donated their time.

We once again had garbled sound and had to stop the broadcast. We rejoined the service at the end of the children's sermon. A full service recording of the 8AM service is posted on the video tab, it was not streamed live due to technical problems.

The choice of prelude music was exceptional. As was the recessional. Thank you Coleman for your musical talent. Jesu Bambino brought a tear to my eye. Never have I heard it played so beautifully.

We had no sound when we started broadcasting the service and had to re-boot, hence we missed the opening music. We have made a stereo version of the service from a separate recorder and married it to the video and will post that version of the service Sunday night. We welcomed Rev. J. Coleman Tyler as a guest organist this week.

We did a test recording instead of a live stream of this service and while not perfect it is serviceable and we are offering it to those who attend the Rite 1 service normally. We are still having problems with stutter in the video but the service can be followed.

After several unsuccessful attempts we have been able to live stream from Christ Church again! Going forward, we hope to stream at least every other week from Christ Church.

I did watch the service, Mairi, as we discussed Sunday, and it was as lovely as you said. A true Celebration of Life. May he rest in peace with the Lord and may you find comfort in the sure knowledge that you will be together again one day in that place where beauty and love surpass our understanding.

Beautiful church and excellent organist and choir! I live in CA but my late parents and grandmother were parishioners. Dad sang in the choir.

The Prelude "Variations on Shall We Gather at the River" by Virgil Thomson, begins at 2:20 into the broadcast. The Postlude is "Love Divine, All Loves Excelling" by Healey Willan.

Once again gremlins attacked our streaming attempt today. During Libby Boyer's fine prelude we realized the sound was garbled and had to reboot the system, losing the beginning of the stream of the service. So the service begins during the opening hymn. Apologies to all.

This is the recording made of the palm Sunday service at Kingston Chapel. We are taking down the live stream as there were streaming errors that made it almost unwatchable. Thank goodness we also make a recording!

We had our funny warbling sound again this morning at the beginning of the service, but we were able to correct it quickly so it only lasts for a few minutes during the prelude. The screen should go black for a moment or two and then it corrects.
