Them Boys are tired ❤ good fight lads 😊
Fun fact: sweeps don't score in Muay Thai. A clean kick to the body is more important that knocking someone off their feet. Groin shots are unfortunate, but they happen. Male fighters need to wear Steel Cups, which protect the groin MUCH more than hockey or plastic cups.
Steel cups for the win. Gotta protect dem ballz. Appreciate you giving some thoughts 👊
It says highlights?
I will be posting more. I put highlights because there was more than kick. Figured plural was accurate. Makes sense to me. 🤷♂️
Rd?
This is round 5. I am going to post more of the earlier rounds and also the full fight. Thanks for watching
Shit the are bad
I will try to post some earlier rounds too
What bullcrap blue got hit in the nuts twice and while hes down red is just chilling and relaxing/recouping his strength while blue has to work to get back up and doesnt get a break. How is that fair.
Wow! Call the police, there’s been a robbery! I lost count of the times red was dropped. The only round blue came close to losing was the first round. Even after losing steam after two bad groin shots that should have causing a point deduction, he still managed to evade strikes and drop red with caught kicks. Good battle fighters! But blue definitely out pointed red. Poor decision judges.
Dude in the blue deserved the win. 49-46 all rounds but last round should've went to the blue corner. That dude in red fought sloppy af
Dude got robbed. Guy in blue landed all the significant shots. All the dude in red did was land 2 huge nut shots that should've been a deduction. Who was judging this Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles.
I appreciate the honest discussion. I am going run it back tonight and watch it again. Fair point on the nut kick, accidents do happen, but point deduction is fair.
Robbed
Hey can you elaborate on why you think so? I want to watch it again with your feedback in mind.
You got some Sebastian clips?
I will put one out starting tomorrow for you 👍
I don’t know if I would handle no shin guard fight
For sure my brittle bones would break 😃. These guys live and breath it to condition themselves.
@@combatfightingchannel did conditioning with heavyweights💀 I ain’t getting lighter either but wish luck to those who fight
@Masteroogway101 Don't be so hard on yourself you look great. These guys have incredibly strict diets. On a regular basis, I would never be able to eat like they do.
What a fight from k8 such a killer
👍 👊
Terrible scoring.
You’re just mad you flew out to Alberta to watch your boy get smashed. Pipe down it’s not a good look for your boy. ☘️🦁
Hey can you elaborate and give me a bit more details on why you think so? I would love to hear it.
@@combatfightingchannel Dylan landed more scoring strikes, kicks knees elbows and hands. He controlled the ring forcing his opponent back until he was running away. Also he dominated in the clinch. He won 2 and 3.
@@charliepenwick3243 I am going to watch this again later and observe a little closer.
I have never seen someone run backwards so much in Muay Thai, let alone run backwards and win. Even Victor’s cornerman was constantly telling him to stop backing up, and the commentators mentioned it throughout the live broadcast. Would be awesome if the ref, judges or some other knowledgeable person can shed light on how back peddling is scored in this fight.
Vitin pegou bolado
He bulked up around 20 pounds 👍👊
This is way better than 10oz gloves. You cant cover up like that with 4oz
I gotta say I love the 4oz gloves too. I am always on edge watching it unfold.
The champ
This would be the 2nd time defending the title I believe 👍👊
I think coaching during the rounds should be banned. You have already done all the trianing preparing for the fight .Coaches should stay out of the rounds, between rounds OK.
I can see the reasoning behind your logic, just the this sport in particular doesn't work like that. With the current rule set the corner guys have freedom to speak out and I think it is up to 2 people in each corner. Perhaps it can be seen as distracting or even unfair for some if one side has a super elite coach uber experience and crazy good advice. But I guess that is why they say it is important who you have in your corner. The fighter and the corner is a team in my eyes and so is the fight game. For me personally, it is fair because both corners are allow to yell equally all they want during the fight. Sometimes I see the corner guys verbally controlling the fighter like a video game character. There is a lot of dimensions to this. The corner person is usually the coach who has spent hours on end with the fighter and has developed specific strategies that they believe will work. There is a symbiotic relationship. Not the same but I would compare it to Rally Racing, there is the racer and the navigator holding the map instructing the how to turn drive. After attending a lot of these events, I can see that fighting is truly a team sport, you need good a good team to train with, and good corner people to either slap the silly out of you when you are feeling down to giving you the advice you need to gain the edge to win. What I am trying to say is I get your reasoning, but in Muay Thai it's quite norm to hear the corner guys yelling during the rounds and I don't see the rules changing anytime soon on this one as it is part of the sport. 👍👊
Brawling… don’t judge either fighter if you’ve never fought a fighter… that was shaping out to be an awesome fight.
The fight was crazy. I am going to post it up soon. The full fight is glorious. Those 4oz gloves puts everyone on edge since things can change so fast. 👊👍
Why is the guy in the red throwing 60% of his power
Nice observation. I think he was trying to find an opening to land a head kick KO. I do agree with you though, that he is not throwing hands as hard as blue. 👍
Carsons girl friend is the.most annoying thing I ever heard
It is nice to have someone have your back though
I don’t even have a girlfriend lol
@carsonholtby9590 too funny lol.
Could've really smashed him with that kick nice combo though
👍 for sure. Jason shelled up pretty good to soften the kick
Flawless fight, Carson. Keep up the hard work in the gym
Busy times for PFA in Lethbridge 👍🔥
That was 🔥 combo
Thanks man. Gonna see some of your combos too soon👍
Respect to Konnor.
Yes both you guys are awesome. 👍
I like seeing fighters like this who aren't celebrating for every good punch and will let an opponent get up
Slipping off a punch is nothing to celebrate.
@@jasondavis2966 very true but I've come across a lot of vids featuring cocky fighters.
@@jasondavis2966still technically a knockdown lol
Well fought Jelena! Keep up!
👍 👌 Looking forward to the next fight
Can someone explain how the WBC muay thai titles work? How do these things work? Please explain different WBC titles
I will take a shot at explaining. There are titles split into different weight classes and regions. There are world champs, international champs, regional champs(NA, Euro, Asia) and country specific( Canada, USA, Italy etc). Head to www.wbcmuaythai.com and you will find more details on events, regions, and champion holder names. You can see who holds what title also also see what titles are vacant. How it works basically - usually if you do well, you get a Title fight shot where you will fight the current Title holder for the belt. Win the fight against the defending champ and you become the new champ. Below are a list of the typical title classes. These classes are based on weight solely. You can have a 5' 5 stocky 155lb fighter, vs a 5' 10 skinny taller 155lb fighter. The day before the fight, the fighters do what is called a weigh-in, they have to make weight to fight for the title, or usually you by not making weight. I mention the weigh-ins because a part of the fight game is to be lean as possible on on weigh-ins, but put back on about up to10 pounds (sometimes more) over night before fight day. So on fight day you can be over the weight class you are fighting for as long as you make weight during the weigh-ins. Not everyone plays the hydration game but a majority do. Important to note One Championship has a hydration test that prevents fighters from doing super weight cuts. The doctor will do urine test sample to make sure the athlete is hydrated with a urine specific gravity value of 1.025 or below. If the athlete passes this test, he or she can weigh-in. (There are ways to trick the system, but I am not getting into that) Typical weight classes: Heavyweight Bridgerweight Cruiserweight Light heavyweight Super middleweight Middleweight - Canadian Middleweight Title was fought for in this this video. Super welterweight Welterweight Super lightweight Lightweight Super featherweight Featherweight Super bantamweight Bantamweight Super flyweight Flyweight Light flyweight Mini flyweight I hope I got that all right. Any errors you spot, let me know and I will fix it.
Thanks this helped a lot
@@varismehta0082 No Problem bud. 👍
Bro, that did NOT hit him.
He missed the right hand on purpose to land the left hook, throws them off.
Yes thank you
Thank you, annoying duck! What would we do without you?@duhhma4446
Pillow punches all night lol
Robbery
Hey can you elaborate on why you think it was Robbery? I would love to hear it.👊
Thank you so much killer Kelly
👍👊 Her next fight is at Trial By Fire in Airdrie.
I was the kid who got the hoodie signed
👊👊That is a great idea, I might change my shirt to a lighter color so I can have a new signed shirt every time
Deberian encarcelar a los entrenadores y esquinas de la niña de rojo...no sabe nada, de nada...
Red did pretty well in her last fight. She is a great fighter, veteran Taekwondo, and relatively new to the Muay Thai scene. Kelly in the blue had just had more power. Red even mentioned Kelly hits like a cement truck.
The red trunk girl ain’t boxer she approach her opponent like young girl in a cat fight !
Red is more is coming from a Taekwondo setting and is learning to adapt to Muay Thai. Blue is really lucky because her gym had lots of Karate people that were willing to mimic Taekwondo type movements during training. This type of focused training really helped the blue corner formulate a plan and condition reflexes.
WTF is the ref doing!??
The fight was eventually stopped, which was a good call. I have the full fight posted on if you want to check it out.
And why are the commentators so overjoyed that the white competitors win? TH-cam shows racially biased sports footage and it's so obvious. They have no regard for how it looks to their subscribers.
The commentator is Kelly's main coach. That is why he is overjoyed. His student won a fight, it's hard for him to not be happy. He really is a good guy.
Why do you try to humiliate the minority competitors during the video play. If the white competitors lose you expedite the footage and cut the ending.
Not sure what you mean. If you are seeing inconsistencies, it really is because sometimes I don't end up catching the footage. For example, some fighters I end up catching a post interview, but some either don't talk to me, or didn't get to me quick enough before the next fight starts. Well that and I am always trying to improve my game so there will be change and tweaks here and there.
Do you have Sebastian clips vs breed
Sure do, I am going to get to all the fights eventually. 👍
I didn’t see a heel kick
What would you call that jumping kick? I will rename the title.
@@combatfightingchannel technically it’s a jumping round kick but for the sake of an exciting title. Let’s call it a “Double Flying Round Kick” since he did it twice!
@xKnightAFx OK corrected, I appreciate the input. 👍
What a beast
She'll be back stronger than ever 👍👍
Это не спорт, это дткость. Люди озверели, им приятно смотреть на этот мордобой. Почему тогда запрещают собочьи бои?
Translation I got from Google 'This is not a sport, this is a hobby. People went wild, they were pleased to watch this massacre. Why then is dog fighting banned?' I would strongly disagree. This is one of the toughest sports. What makes this a sport, is weight classes, rules, refs, judges, teams, fighters, organizations and rankings. As for why dog fighting is banned - that is an interesting question, but a lot of due to culture. I know in other parts of the world dog and cock fights are pretty normal. Heck I enjoyed seeing some rooster fights in Asia. In North America, based on culture here, animal fights would not go well.
Lol
yes indeed haha. The fight was brutal tho
Nice to see Jake smile after that amazing fight. You usually don't get to know the fighter and their supporters but this video really shows that. Thank you for your channel!
Thank you for the kind words
Yay Melle!
👍🎉Good times
He's got some incredibly smooth defense, kicks and stance switching. His lack of an arm does open up a unique benefit: His weight cutting is much easier since he's got less mass, allowing him to be bulkier everywhere else. He probably has a slightly different center of mass, which might help him get some of his kicks go easier. That or he's just that flexible and skilled.
One of his corner men Shane was mentioning that he has so many tools at his arsenal since he can do so many moves so well. So yes incredibly smooth like you said. Yep, weight is on his side. There was some discussion about this on the Combat Instagram Channel after Jake won the Road to One Tournament in 2023. Fort he slightly different center of mass, perhaps. I don't know enough to really say. I have seen a lot of Jake's fights now, a lot of what he has managed to achieve is from skill. He just seems to know how to operate in his form from lots of practice and experience. He just won his First ONE Championship fight this weekend. I am exited to see who is next!
What a fucking warrior, he even threw feints with his stub
Yes 100% this man is a killer. I am sure the whole division is watching him now if they weren't already 🎉🎉
Hope Jake wins on April 5 One Championship!
He's got it. If I was a betting man I would bet on Jake.🎉
Thanks!
Thank you for your support. I really do appreciate it.
🐐 🗣️ Abiissa coming up🗡️
For sure, his next fight is April 20th in 1 month🙌🙌🙌
💪💪💪
👍🙌 Thanks for watching bud
