Don't move around too much, instead of that, abuse the "exit to menu" button and keep teleporting between two spawns: Aspen River and Robert's Lodge. Keep moving around and checking for an actual prey that you can see instead of their footprints. Trust me, I've only played this game for 2-3 hours but I've harvested 22 animals, which are 4 moose, 5 coyotes, 13 deer. 9 gold, 4 silver, 9 bronze. Another tip: Do not look for footprints that are below very fresh, not even fresh, avoid finding galloping footprints too! Update: Just got 2 moose, 2 coyotes just in 30 mins, proving to be a very effective method!
