Section 377A: What Does Equality Look Like to You?
SG Narratives imagine a future where Section 377a in the Penal Code is abolished, and to explore what the future may look like through a 60-minute panel discussion. How may the LGBTQI community as well as the rest of the nation react to this change? What would be the hardest part of adapting to this change? Could there be a positive chain reaction to this repeal that paves the way for other much needed social reforms in this country?

Adam & Zat | Truth Kit Conversations
มุมมอง 2455 ปีที่แล้ว
"If you could change something about the way you love, what would you change?" When we designed the Truth Kit, our intention was to give permission for people to take off their emotional armour in a safe setting of a game. Vulnerability is the birthplace of connection. The conversation Adam and Zat had, exemplifies our purpose perfectly. Special thanks to Adam of The Novel Encounter for being p...
Truth Kit - How would you tell your story?
มุมมอง 715 ปีที่แล้ว
The Truth Kit is a simple card game made up of 108 questions that drive honesty and vulnerability. It's almost like bringing SG Narratives home with you! Some of the questions are light-hearted and fun (What do you think turns me on?), while others require a higher level of truth and vulnerability from you (Can you remember a time when I've hurt you, but I was not aware?). At the end of the day...
(Insert Race Here) Conversations | Choosing what defines us.
มุมมอง 745 ปีที่แล้ว
Our national identities are interlaced with our racial identities. Our race and how society views us influences what we like, the food we eat, the way we behave and what stereotypes are attached to us, to an extent. But we are more than how our races define us and the stereotypes attached to each race. We are mothers, students, sons, travelers and above all, human first. In this four-part serie...

A couple of racial riots broke out in Singapore in 1964 - the first of which took place on July 21. Till today, Singapore marks July 21 as Racial Harmony Day to remind ourselves of the importance of harmony, regardless of race, language or religion. What does racial harmony look like Singapore? Can people of different races sit across each other and have a conversation about races, without offe...

See Ting, you are an AMAZING girl. I admire your courage and your love for humanity to come out and speak on this issue. I have suffered from hair loss since the age of 24 in Singapore and this issue had often made me lose my confidence and self esteem. I know that you are such an attractive and beautiful woman who will be appreciated and loved by a man for the virtues you exhibit. I have learned so much from this video about self love.

The first pair had views of persons at an early stage of adulthood. Views change as you mature. The second conversation was much more practical, pragmatic, mature. It deals with an actual racial issue, not some ideological chip on the shoulder.

As the saying goes..A pic is worth a thousand words.. This Video certainly brings home a simple, clear and lucid message of "what Buddhism is all about" from the perspective of young aspiring Buddhists. Its not about religion.. its about a meaningful way of life. In the process of learning and practicing the Noble 8 Foldpath, one will find peace, harmony and equaminity in his / her path ahead. I think it's a very important video for people to watch. Esp Singaporeans cos it deal with things at home and on top of the conventional issues that a relationship will bring, PLU's have to deal with other issues that was touched in the video! I think it really empowers me as someone going thru almost what they are going thru and I truly feel what they say! More blessings to them and all the other PLUs that are in a committed relationship and all the best to all the challenges that we all might face!
