A Rucking We Will Go: Group Ruck & Overnight Event (featuring Carl)
This was a great group ruck with several new members of the team going up initiation hill. I think everyone had a good experience and I don't think anyone froze too bad this time.
*unfortunately tons of my data ended up being lost on a bad SD card. Most of the campsite footage was lost which sucks but I'm glad I could salvage what I did*

Prepared Citizen: Pistol Proficiency with 50 rounds
มุมมอง 2698 หลายเดือนก่อน
Pistol usage is the most realistic and common form of self-defense we as prepared citizens have. In this video I go over some of my favorite drills and stay within 50 rounds to maximize training while minimizing cost. This was intended to be done from the concealed carry position, but the weather decided to shift so we made do and strapped on the battle belts!

I have an M4A1 SOPMOD block 2 that's semi-clone correct. It's basically inspired-by. I have all the necessary parts save for minor variations (EX: EXPS 2-0 vs 3-0). That said, all I have left is the BUIS and my rifle will look identical. To be correct, I need the Matech... But I do not like the Matech. It's so clunky and outdated with long-term reliability issues. I can't bring myself to take that final step. I see sights like the Griffin M2, or the Peak 02 rear sight from Scalarworks and it makes me second guess everything. I don't know what to do.

Good kit. I like that you go with everyday bic lighters as a primary fire source - keeping it real not playing bushcraft ehen not neccesary. More observation tools? Binos? You need to do minimize casualties so you need some intel. Of course if you have at least one scope on rifle that will do the trick without adding weight. I recommend cutting down even further on tools. You are walking as a group so even the folding saw amd camp axe can be shared and are pursuiting so speed is key and each gram counts. As for batteries - once again if it's mission critical you need to power it. Even if it comes to having 1lb battery pack on the back of your head like in old school gen 1 tanker gogles it's still worth it

You would have a much better score if you improved your pistol prone position. Instead of doing a roll over, monopod the gun off the ground for more stability, it lowers your silhouette as well. If you need more height to see the sights, you can modify your grip and stack your fists or use an extended magazine. The same can be said if you used bone support during the kneeling position instead of taking a double knee.
