Rome Colosseum Timelapse - October 2024
Had a 5-day break in Italy earlier this week
We found this really nice AirBnB with an amazing view of the Colosseum from its roof terrace, so being me I decided to capture a time-lapse one evening - and the sky came alive! Captured using a combination of a Insta360 X4 camera and a Sony A1, with the Sony 24-240 lens (great all-in-one travel lens). Edited in Lightroom and Premiere.
Definitely recommend Rome if you love history - every corner you turn there's an ancient building of some sort.

In January 2022 we went on a fantastic trip to northern Norway inside the Arctic circle. The trip was organised by filmmaker and Sony ambassador Alister Chapman. If you want to see an authentic Norway, away from all crowds, with a high chance of witnessing the northern lights, we highly recommend this trip. We were fortunate to see the aurora on 3 consecutive nights, it truly is a remarkable si...
Time-lapse film of London at night from The Shard, including Tower Bridge opening.
มุมมอง 2013 ปีที่แล้ว
Here is a time-lapse film of London at night, shot from the viewing gallery at the Shard over about a 2-hour period. Taken with the Sony A1 and Laowa 15mm f2 lens. Each shot at 10-seconds, f5.6, ISO 200. Edited in Lightroom and assembled/animated in Premiere. You aren't allowed to take a tripod up the Shard, not even a Gorillapod (I tried, they wouldn't let me!), so I rested the camera on a sma...

Shot on Friday 28th August 2021 at Sidmouth in Devon, UK, capturing some spectacular moments from the Red Arrows, Royal Navy Black Cat Display Team, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Rich Goodwin Airshows. Which cable do you use to shoot using the grip and the A1? I haven't found a compatible one……
@@Alteredwards micro USB. The cable is included with the grip.
@@WarnerVision thank you 😊
Looking through old footage, I came across this display we did for Chard Rugby Club back in 2019…brilliantly edited by Warner Vision…enjoy!!
From Bridgwater to Chard, an inspirational video, thank you for sharing <3
I moved to chard in 2021 and left 2023. I went to school there and watching this video made me remember the awesome memories with my twin. If any chard citizens see this tell miss Hamlton and mr talmage I miss them From the twin
what about your experience regarding focus accuracy ? same as originals or any differences ? thanks
i love are town, and friendly faces like jenny just shows that we are a friendly town,
just imagine to have it in phones
Super
I've been trying to find a nice reference timelapse for this specific camera at its ISO 12,800 setting...thanks so much for posting this. I will be taking a stab at starting from sunset going into Milky Way and understand that the dual gain behavior (noisy just before 12,800) can mostly be ignored for still photography.
Thank you. Yes the 12,800 threshold is more applicable for video in Slog-3. When shooting stills I use no picture profile, being in raw, but the noise from the camera is very useable at higher ISOs. Although I did apply some noise reduction in post if I recall.
Ah the voice of Boris telling all what to do while breaking all the rules.
Received the Viltrox ef-l adapter today and tested it on my S1. Works with everything I have tried so far. Even the most difficult lens for adapters canon 22-55mm 4-5.6 usm works without any issue. Even the sigma lenses work better on the viltrox than on the sigma mc21. Some of them even don't want to get in and out in the mc21 easily. The plastic fantastic canon 50mm 1.8 mark 2 doesn't focus with the mc21 and works fine with the viltrox! The focus is incomparably consistent and faster compared to the sigma, even with sigma lenses, not to speak about compatibility. Really dissaponted from sigma again and it costs significant amount of money for an adapter
정말 아름다워요. ^^
great video, what PP did you use ?
Thank you. No picture profile, as I shot this as raw still photos. Picture profiles are only applicable for JPG photos or video.
Absolutely incredible 👌♥️
Why did you end up selling your EVA1?
What bortle this location is ? Milky way is very clear 😍✨️
Wonderful
Stunning mate as usual 👌♥️
Thanks matey!
nice! what video settings did you use here ?
Thank for great info
Awesome stuff! What kind of lenses did you use?
Thank you. Sony lenses - 200-600 (with/without the 1.4x extender), 70-200, 20mm. 35mm. 55mm, 135mm.
Absolutely incredible. 👌♥️ I’ve seen nothing that comes even near to that!! Show me your ways 😳
Thank you! Feel free to come out for a shoot one day, not that you need any advice.
This is true greatness
Very nicely done sir 👍 Always a pleasure to see my hometown of Dartmouth…thank you, made me a tad homesick in a nice way 🙏
Thank you Paul, appreciate that. Nice part of the world to live for sure!
Great job 👏 I went there last week and did a video 😊
Thank you! I'll check out your video too.
Sí I can use APS-C EF lenses with MC-21. That's the information I've been looking for. Thanks!!
Very impressive! Looking forward to 2022 show. Were you on Salcombe Hill east of Sidmouth for the view?
Question I can’t find anywhere else Ron the internet: does the MC-21 do real time aperture preview and stop down the aperture in the viewfinder or just stop it down to take the final picture? On my Sigma MC-11 for Sony when using non-sigma lenses it only faked a decrease of exposure in the viewfinder and so when it would actually stop down the aperture while taking the photo my exposures would be different due to vignetting throwing off the internal meter. Can anyone who has used the MC-21 with Canon or Tamron lenses confirm that when they stop down the aperture physically changes in preview?
Wonderfully made video! Thanks a lot for all the details.
Absolutely brilliant. I could watch that over and over 👍♥️
Absolutely amazing 😳
Hi Jon. Just found your channel and subscribed. What a fantastic video!! Phil 👍
Thanks Phil!

Beautiful shots! Mesmerising 👍
Thank you!
Hello everyone, Im John Hill from west virginia USA, was wondering if anyone here can take some pictures of Hill members that are from grave sites in or around Chard summerset Uk area for me ? around in the 1600's or before.
What a dope ass video.
Fantastic video. Do you find any over heating problems with Sony A1 shooting an airshow?
Thank you. No overheating issues, except when shooting 8K for extended periods using the internal battery. If I use an external battery powered through a dummy battery then the issue goes away. Always put the heat option in the menu on 'high' and keep the monitor tilted out from the camera.
@@WarnerVision thanks very much for your response. It looks like A1 is the camera for me
I didn’t watch your video while I’m writing this comment… after all my search, this is the last one before finally comes the decision … let’s see :)
Sigma 24-105 f4 art lens doesn’t focus with MC-21 on Lumix S5. I’m not sure if it’s the lens’ firmware or the adapter’s. Pretty frustrated :(
Commentless!
1 reason I choose fx6 over A1: I hate rigging.
Wow.. 🤩
What eye cup you have there? :-)
This is something else! So beautiful! You've captured a unique moment so well. Love the choice of music. Out of interest, what do you think of the piece I have made on Glastonbury and its ancient atmosphere? th-cam.com/video/1mCk5oWi9dg/w-d-xo.html
Thank you. Great video of yours, thanks for sharing!
This is insanely good Sir!
I've had a Panasonic S5 for several months, and even after updating the S5 and Sigma 24-105 firmware to the latest as of November 2021, the IBIS doesn't work with the 24-105. It's very perplexing. It seems that the IBIS on the S1 works, but not on the S5? Unless there's a setting I'm missing somewhere.
Excellent work. Which star tracker do you use
Thank you. No tracker, all movement is created in post.
Hats of to atletes and organisation!
