Why Canadians Were Absolute BEASTS in WWI

There is a saying that those of us with expertise and degrees in history and are of a more erudite predisposition or inclination, if you will, are wont to say: History, she is a fickle mistress and she doth move in mysterious ways. How are trench knives and my benefactor William's seemingly confused and misplaced resentment of Winston Churchill related? Several Ways. 1. Winston Churchill fought in WWI. So did these trench knives. 2. Most importantly - Trench knives and Churchill both = history. If you think about it or choose to not think about it too hard it makes sense. PS: William, if you read this, while your positions on Winston Churchill may SEEM confused and misplaced to those less familiar with history, as I have assured you before, they are not. You are simply picking up on some far more obscure historical information than most have access to, which may make it SEEM misguided and nonsensical to the layperson.

There is good news, though, in case colleagues like William from the McGovern collection or his lovely wife, Joani Havers, of the Monte Carlo Havers, should wish to hear it. I am man enough to admit that I do not know everything. Even though I recognize that I am a history effecianato and that my grasp on history is better than probably 90% of pleebians without degrees, I can also see that I made a wise decision hiring someone who does have said degree, and it be History no less. The information here was very valuable and I'm glad that you are informing people about not only the horrors that took place in the pacific theater of Vietnam, but also how soldiers got by in day to day life in the trenches and pits and castles and ramparts when fighting in these wars. This information is valuable and I'm glad you can share it with children at the symposiums that I set up for you. I do have one bone to pick on that front, however. The principal Southwestside Elementary I set a symposium at, said that you blew him off. This looks bad for all of us, Francis. When I set these up, you need to show up. I would be angrier about this, but it appears that many of the students saw you at another symposium or online or something. I'm a little confused as to where they saw you as you blew off the principal, but they saw you and that's what matters. Be careful. This isn't the first time I have received a message like this. Another principal told me that you were "good at jerking [him](sp) around." Again he seemed pleased enough by the symposium which shows that the information you present is powerful enough to get away with your less than professional at times. It also shows that I made an excellent choice and my taste remains impeccable, despite what my wife says. Now I booked another symposium for you in a week. I will send you details with my next shipment of mantiques. Just one more point I would like to address; I know you have several of the most prestigious degrees in History and not in English: but you should try to sound a little more cultured. It is Messrs. Honeycutt and Stosich, not "Misters" Honeycutt and Stosich. Next time I would like to see you correct yourself because when you say things wrong you sound like a Phyllis Stine. Also, if you think it would be appropriate to hire these two fine gentlemen, let me know so I can consult with my wife. No, she isn't the boss of me, I just like to be upfront with her so she can see how good my taste and insight is.

@@williammcgovern8478 - Not to blow on my own horn but yes, you are not likely to find a more qualified history expert, anywhere. Perhaps ever. Your wife should know that there's literally no way you could do better, expert-wise. In fact, trying to do so would likely result in all of these history investments being lost or damaged or stolen. Not to mention the FACT that many other so-called history experts, most, I'd venture to say, are mostly experts in finding generous, informed couples and taking advantage of their goodwill by killing them and doing bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen things with their corpses. I've seen it happen dozens of times. Lol! Laugh out loud, as it were! That is simply a fun misunderstanding that we can both now enjoy since we are about to understand it. You can trust the multiple videos and hundreds of eyewitness accounts from the school demonstrating that I was indeed there. Including the live-stream you watched at the time. The vice-principal, or VP, there was referring to how I "blew him off" in his office because he requested that I join the school's staff as a six-figure salary history leader and school mantiques comptroller. I turned him down because I have loyalty. He would probably lie about that if asked though, typical. Same thing with the VP at Northsouthern Elementary who probably was telling you about how I followed him to his car in the parking lot and "jerked him around" in the backseat by turning down a six-figure job offer that he thought I would take. Regarding Messrs. Honeycutt and Stosich, they are experts but not... EXPERTS, you know? Can we tap them for their expertise when necessary? Of course. Should you use your money you have that your wife is kind enough to chaperone briefly before transferring it over to you for the purpose of mantiques and my expertise to hire them? No.

I have to warn you that the large and extra-large toothbrushes you find on Amazon are almost certainly going to be reproductions and not original trench toothbrushes, such as per the one I now have... temporary custody over. Thanks to the largesse of William, history f*cking genius that he is. The good news is that, as with all things throughout history (excepting Mondays, am I not right), the technology has improved since our forefathers were overseeing each other's oral situations in the trenches. For instance, they now have vibrating trench toothbrushes. I have ordered an extra large one of those myself to shake that plaque and tartar free. I wouldn't want to risk an actual mantique in front of children, whom I have learned are almost universally, viewers' children excluded, no less than callous, gibbering psychopaths. However, for my next educational outing to a school I am going to bring one of those vibrating trench toothbrush replicas and use it vigorously in front of the children to reinforce the importance of history, oral hygiene, and respecting your elders. All excellent and accurate historical insights to consider and I have to apologize for any historical lapses. And an argument could definitely be made that because Hitler was mentioned in the video, it was basically WWII and the Nazis being discussed, because of how WWI set the stage in so many ways for that conflict. Plus, Vietnam was considered part of Indochina, I'm pretty sure, and we can't say that that played no role in World War ONE, the war being discussed, can we? Along with the implied discussion of WWII, obviously. This is one of my favorite things about collaborating with William that I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with, viewers. He and other regular people like like him commenting here on TH-cam threads bring a fresh perspective and insight to the historical "facts" that us experts with degrees in the GD subject take for granted. So you have a degree in history? Is that correct?

An EXCELLENT question, viewer Todd Buchanan. Hopefully this will prove helpful to others with the same question. My expertise in this (and all) historical subjects has elicited some understandable curiosity regarding how exactly I came by this kind of virtually comprehensive, encyclopedic historical knowledge. I probably forgot to mention it in the video but I actual have a degree in history from a university. That and mine own extensive studies into all things historical and mantique have established the level of expertise you are now all lucky (blessed?) enough to enjoy and benefit from here.

I usually can’t stand “notes” from people who may not have… a certain level of expertise in certain subjects, but you have bucked the trend and made an excellent suggestion. I believe I will.
