Unticipated Soundz is an innovative gqom music trio from Durban, South Africa which consists of Ayanda "Bravo" Mntambo, Mduduzi “MduScabha” Xulu, and Sandile "MrBeats" Mntambo. They pioneered a sub-genre called Uthayela, a Zulu term meaning 'corrugated iron' as this sound would quite literally shake the roof, due to bass heavy sounds. The distinctive sound has made waves on social media and club dance floors, solidifying their position as originators of this unique style in the electronic music scene.
