Okay this may sound dumb as a person who has actually already graduated high school but what is the difference???? You passing a levels would mean getting a high school diploma right???

Okay I did some research and while a levels is a certificate course not a diploma (unlike the IB) this is not because of the quality/quantity of a subject but because to get a diploma you need the subjects from the 6 areas of study ie. math, first language, second language, social studies, art and science. Whereas in A levels you can choose whatever subjects you want rather than be restricted to 1 from each section. So one is as good as the other and it doesn’t truly matter for uni applications which one you apply with

It’s a merit scholarship which is usually a partial scholarship unless they love your portfolio so much they give you a full scholarship. It’s not a separate application, it happens when you apply for admission. I do plan to do a video on this in a week or 2, I’ll explain everything in that :)

Thank you so much! To be honest with you, I don’t understand the GPA thing either but it isn’t really required, they accept all boards and all scores now. Especially in the UK because A levels works on a percentile/marks basis too

I’m really glad I could help. I have an entire playlist on my channel dedicated to my foundation year so you can go check that out maybe but if there’s anything else in particular that you want, I could do that. About which college of the 6 of UAL - I can really truly talk only about my experience but maybe I can ask a few of my friends for their choices too and see if I can talk about that :) Of course for graphic design in particular you don’t really have the option of LCF but I know that you do have options for that like CSM, LCC and maybe even camberwell if I’m not wrong, I think some of the things I talked about in the video could help with that.

Issue with that is that you need 3 A levels to actually pass the A levels. I think I mean getting into UAL isn’t so much an issue as actually passing high school lol

I’m sorry? Usually people apply during grade 12 so they can start immediately after that, if you choose to apply after grade 12 ends that would mean taking a gap year. Hope that answered your question

In the US it’s merit based on the student’s portfolio/ grades/ other contributing factors. You’re automatically considered when you apply. In the UK, you have to apply separately for scholarships.

Whichever university you apply to should have it on their website or you can usually write to admissions to ask for their advice on which ones you should apply for and how

They should accept a digital portfolio but I don’t know much about masters applications. Yes masters is a degree
