Crazy to think back on it now, but I saw this "band" live in Chicago, early 80s sometime. Coupla guys walked out onto the stage with laptops, plugged em in and started screaming. Very freaky! I didn't know what to expect, a friend of mine from the local new wave scene told me I had to see them.

Ah, Whitehouse... before they became harsh. This track/album is just plain weird. Maybe the weirdest thing I've ever heard (and I've heard a lot). Sounds like someone shrieking in agony while frying bacon - perhaps he splattered some grease. I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it, though I don't know why. My favorite Whitehouse is Bird Seed, but this is quite a start.
