Fantastic images and video content. Your images are beautiful, approach creative and interesting. But title should be more catchy and specific to get views you deserve! Use your title graphic "5 Steps to Success for birds in flight photography", "5F's - 5 steps to Fantastic bird photos" "Applying 5 military tactics to capturing great birds in flight photos". Should help to get more views. Personally I would re-edit and upload a shorter, more focused with same great images. Even show tracking/framing etc.. in viewfinder. Also play around with cover image and watch videos rate change for a week. You'll see what people are attracted to. I'm a digital marketing consultant, and think you deserve more success.

Thanks mucker, the piece about pre-dive movements is invaluable….I’m away to a commercial hide next week and having never shot Kingfishers so I want to be sure I’m fully genned up on behaviour. The tech stuff isn’t an issue for me it’s useful for the for first timers. Excellent video and good to see a fellow veteran enjoying the peaceful life 😉

Nice video.. but I’m from Northern California and don’t know a lot of your bird species, I had to pause a video and take a photograph to identify the bird with my iPhone and Merlin Bird ID. I know you mentioned some of the species, but could you put subtitles on different birds? (And do you have a Scottish accent or is that northern England?)

Perfect timing. I've been looking locally for Badgers and have found some on my trail cameras, but judging by the freqency, there's no den nearby. I believe they can have quite a large wondering range so they're probably just passing through

Really enjoyed this episode, I have ordered the book, it’s coming tomorrow. The farmers fields behind our garden have deer, fox, badger, stoat etc. plenty of amphibians too as the water drains off the mountains in the distance. Should be interesting to take the kids and see what we can find. Thanks for sharing this, lots of work going into these high quality films 👏👏👏

Great useful information and lovely shots - you mention the bird judging the water depth , on my recce’s I notice the bird when perched is frequently bobbing its head up and down -any thoughts on this behaviour as it doesn’t seem to proceed any particular activity

I’m looking forward to the drumming starting soon. We have a GSW feeding in our garden at present, and we get Green Woodpeckers too. Last year we rescued a GSW after it flew into our conservatory. It was a bit dazed, and fortunately we got to it before our cat, or the dogs did. I released it in a bit and it flew away, no harm done. The next month is my absolute favourite time of the year……………

Amazing images! I've just gotten into birds and discovered that there are kingfishers in my area. I haven't even seen one yet, but my wife did on our last trip out. She even got a good pic with her Canon powershot. I couldn't even see it. So, baby steps. Your tips here are super helpful! Thanks!
