In Luke 22:41 the NIV says “He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed,” Yes, Jesus actually prayed by himself but make no mistake Jesus took his disciples with him. The fact that they were not standing right beside him is splitting hairs. ‭‭

When he said "the first fruits of my day." That hit me like a ton of bricks. I've always prayed throughout the day and read my Bible before bed, but the morning is "the first" of the day. And we're supposed to give God the first 10%. 10% of a day is 2 hours and 24 minutes. If I would just spend that time in the word, prayer and praise in the AM I know that would make my day so much better. Thank you for that light bulb!

Incredible testimony, God bless his wife for staying with him through him it all. There’s nothing like a strong Proverbs 31 woman giving support and encouragement when a man is at his lowest. When my wife discovered I had a bad addiction to amphetamines she met me with some tough love but also grace, hope and encouragement. Her Godly character towards me in my failure and darkness inspired me to have strength and motivation to overcome the addiction and I’m forever grateful...
