Fishing with ActiveTarget for zander!

Is that a Spike X Crankbait rod? The Spiderwire looks a lot thicker than 0.13 mm in the video on 7:27 min ..maybe it's just me , or were you fishing a bit thicker here? I am a bit jealous with you, look at the water , the nature, not a soul or boat on the water. Thats totally different overhere in the Netherlands.

Yes, it's an Abu Spike X Crankbait 10-40g. It's 0.13mm Spiderwire sitting on the reel, but I can agree that it looks thick, but it's only 0.13mm. Yes, we are doing well in Sweden and there are several well-known Dutch fishermen here who visit our fishing waters.

@@fishy.fishersthank you very much. Very nice reel and like the drag sound too! What lines and sizes do you have good experience with? Thank you

@@jason-ian-Van-Sloten I use a braided line called SpiderWire Stealth Smooth x8 in the color HiVis Yellow in 0.13mm. As a leader I use Berkley Trilene Flurocarbon in 0.40mm and I also use BFT Fastach clip in size 2, and so far it has worked well. The braided line is round in shape and in my opinion it doesn't cut very much into the spool and creates unnecessary tangles. The line is also quiet as I experienced a certain whining sound from other lines, but that also depends on what kind of guides you use. B)

@@fishy.fishersthank you very much for your info. It is much appreciated! Ok so you use spider wire 0.13 . . . I 've had bad expierence with smooth 8. . But maybe it was due to the sharp edges and concrete and building stones that were dumped in the water by a local company. I had meters long damaged line and once the line starts to fray it is very bad. Maybe i'll try it again. The abu Zenon X is definitely a nice reel large handle i like it..i noticed it right away in your video, didnt know it was a abu Zenon. Hope to see more of your video's. Thanks again! Subscribed!

All of you using that live scope shhit should be embarrassed to call your self a fisherman (woman). Next time just throw net it's almost no effort needed. 👎

@@fredrikjohansson5539bro, I fully support your passion for fishing. But, you have to understand that new technology especially in this case doesn't mean better. To use sonar (echolocation) I support but only in case to check the bottom or is there any fish in the targeting area. But to pinpoint every fish like sniper, with out adrenaline waiting for the strike instead of the seeing the strike, you can't call that fishing. Tide lines.

@@Bosugo018 i stand by my previous comment. Only a person who has managed battle against the current, wind/waves and the fish moving around and still manage to cast where the fish is goin to be when the lure and fish meet knows what im talking about. And for adrenaline, to generalise what triggers this is kinda ignorant since its very diffrent for everyone. I can agree on the point that you are always casting on a fish and it may cause an unfair situation for someone who dont have live scope. But trust me, the fish isnt flying up in your boat just because u have livescope, there are alot of things to master.

@@fredrikjohansson5539 bro you have some issues. Fishing is SPORT that trigger adrenaline in general if you are not fish-bucher or wannabe YT star collecting likes (dislikes in this case). I see that you have 2.clips for the last 13.years of "growing" this channel, you been waiting (probably) for something like live scope whole your life. So many clips, catches that you have posted in last 13.years 😂🤣😂🤣, give me a break. I see that you are fishing in Sweden, as much as I know (and I know probably even more than you about sport fishing in Sweden) fish fond is so big that you don't need live scope to enjoy sport fishing. The only ignorant thing is that you generalize thinking that people don't like live scope fishing because they don't use it. People (in this case I) are choosing not to used that $hit.
