Fleshgod Apocalypse, Cryptopsy, Carcass, Nile, Decapitated and Gorguts live?? Now that’s a freaking damn good Metal show! Also Suffocation but they are not the same without Frank and Mike in the band. Once T. Hobbs is gone Suffocation will be no more just like when Max and Igor left Sepultura.

This is music you need to sit and absorb. Really listen to. It's just short of amp worship, allowing each note to stay as long as it needs to to feel the impact and preserve the melody. The reason these guys are on top of the Doom game is because they play Doom like classic rock. Their lyrics eschew everything cheesy about the sword and sorcery aspect of stoner and doom metal. It's timeless, relevant, and it speaks to the objective truth of reality. It's bleak, but there is absolutely beauty and grace in that bleakness. Their music is the worship of reality.
