Yes he did know of the fall he even said he was a scientist from 10 years ago trying to make the fall happen no he did not know about the appraiser he thought he had to sacrifice them to have nyx show He did tie in with Strega he made them
I know Shuji found out about the fall, though, being on a research team. And that he helped create Strega. However how does one find out about the fall without finding out about the Appriser given that the fall is dependent on the Appriser. Also, how the fall was even discovered is extremely vague. My point on Strega was more so that I don't understand how they can be as active as they are without having the resources that SEES has.
@@lylakgames4097 I mean nyx has already done the fall before in the universe stated by Ryoji I'd think it would be the same as us finding out about a meteorite crashing into earth killing the dinosaurs
@beck_gaming1243 Yeah that makes sense, I guess my next question would be then. Why does Shuji think he needed sacrifices to make the fall happen? I feel like maybe it would have made more sense if he somehow discovered the Makoto housed the death arcana inside of him. So he would think that sacrificing Makoto would start the fall. Which maybe he did, but if it was I don't think it was conveyed super well.
@@lylakgames4097 I don't know about that but is that information really need for the story to be better or worse? Also I think maybe he thought if he sacrificed people it would make him the appraiser but he called it the Prince

Late edit but I forgot to mention in game 2 at 13:00 had Uncle Hot Pocket Rapid Spin and the Ice Spinnered on my Altaria like he did in game 1, it actually wasn't over. I still had one more out which was terastalizing my Dragalge into a Dragon Type, which would make me neutral to Head Long Rush and killing great Tusk with Draco Meteor.
