Denis Severin is a professor of cello at Geneva-Neuchâtel University of Music and Bern University of Arts.
He is a winner of ECHO KLASSIK Prize 2015, GRAMMY AWARDS 2007, International Classical Music Awards 2018, laureate of several international competitions.
He performs as a soloist and a chamber musician in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world.
Collaborates with some of the most distinguished ensembles and musicians.
He is a frequent guest artist at classical music festivals, jury member for a number of music competitions, Artistic Director of ArtCello Festival and Schlosskonzerte Beuggen (Germany) concert series, President of Association “Art Without Borders Basel”.
Denis Severin graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (prof. D.Miller). Continued education at the Geneva University of Music (prof.
D.Grossgurin), Music Academy of Basel (prof. T.Demenga), Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris (prof. G.Hoffman), Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.
