I would rather tell, according to my first time experience in Sealdah South corridor, when i am returning home from Diamond Harbour, the train would take 2 hr time. But the train didn't speed up beyond 60 km/h, which leads to reaching Sealdah at Half an hour delay. All owing to limited electrical technologies. Howrah Division trains speed themselves up to 100 km/h or even more, especially in Howrah Katwa line.

Same as chennai EMUs 😍 Can never forget these sounds. Only real railfans will love this! Actually these train sets is faaaar better. The ones used in early 90s had very very loud sounds which would deafen your ears. Especially the mumbai local train ones
