OK, but hear me out: As someone who has played all of the games except _Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands_ and _New Tales From the Borderlands_ (I refuse. Both are awful ), it objectively and empirically was absolutely *THAT. BAD.* And I didn’t even need a trip to the local movie theater to tell me it was; the online reporting exposed it as the pile it is.

It was an utter shit.

We were all told the movie was not going to be a retelling of the game, so from that point on we needed to be prepared for huge changes. A lot of people had preconceived expectations and that led to disappointment. It is definitely not as bad as people are saying. Gotta see it with a completely open mind. That said, it could've and should've been better. You can't put all that Borderlands universe that the 7 games have built into a short movie. Probably should have been a show.

Borderlands is one of those franchises that doesn’t take itself seriously. So Kevin Hart and Jack Black being in this movie was going to happen anyway.

Why does a borderlands 1 movie have Tina and Krieg in it? Honestly it doesn't make sense to me tbh given Tina would have been locked up with her parents in the Hyperion testing facility at that point and I can't remember Krieg's back story because I never played him, however he shouldn't be there either. I wish the cast had been Lilith, Roland, Claptrap, Scooter and Moxxi; ity could have also taken place during the assault on general knoxes armory DLC or the claptrap dlc. TBH the claptrap dlc would have been peak. The story is also something akin to they are going to save a CEO's daughter??? The only way I could see it functioning in the continuity of the story would be either if Angel got kidnapped as a kid and jack hires them [Possible], or if it SMS munitions. Either way it feels wrong to me though. I agree with all your points, just thought I'd say my thoughts.

They need James Gun and someone who knows what BorderLands is. JG knows how to make bloody and crude movies, he reinvented The Su¡cide Squad and made it fun to watch than the first movie.

It could've been perfect for claptraps casting, which Kevin Hart should've played. It's literally his typecast type of character, a chatterbox punching bag whose full of themselves, but no, he has to play the gritty soldier who leads the team. This is like if someone who makes those fancast post on the internet actually got to make the cast.

If they were to have a miracle and make another borderlands movie and handsome Jack would be in there. I would have to say, Ryan Reynolds the dude that plays Deadpool he would be perfect in my opinion.
