Ich habe COPD und meine alte Blockflöte aus Kindertagen wieder raus gekramt ,um meine Lungen auch mit künstlerischen Aktivitäten wieder in Schwung zu bringen. Jetzt habe dieses Solo gehört und wieder Lebens- und Lungenantrieb zu bekommen. Ob ich's wohl zum Largo schaffe? Ihr hört vielleicht nochmal von mir.

Emma Kirky has been one of the best sopranists for old masters's music until today -- and Vivaldi is famous, but, by the way, even more beautiful is the Alleluja by Dietrich Buxtehude in the final part of BuxWV 108 (not only Buxtehudes most beautiful Alleluja, but one of the most amazin ones at all, if you'd ask me ... not the most difficult one to sing, but difficulty is not an aesethtic category, as is often forgotten ...) but this here is quite nice as well

Lara's voice is still so good !! Her sylistic choices on her high notes placement are very healthy technically even if sounds headier. Listening closely, we can hear that her high notes are still powerful, even if the volume is lesser. And those background singers better sing !! The girl(s) doing the higher harmony sang G#5 - E5 - G#5 - E5 on the last Adagio !!
