Got a relative that won't even try to help or assist us while caring for him. But let a health care associate,or a therapist come in, they do everything thing that is asked of them..
Me parece una verguenza y una burla, porque no hace la prueba con una persona realmente discapacitada, mayor, y que pese 100kg. Que es mas o nenos la realidad, y no ese paripé
I've just recently assisted in transferring a dear friend that suffered a stroke (paralyzed right side). She's a small lady (approx. 110 lbs). It's harder to do than it would seem to be. Even though I outweigh her by over 100 lbs, it's no easy task. Training is recommended. 💯
My mom had a stroke & is also paralyzed on that side and I would say that’s this is the only thing I am having trouble with! It’s so sad how they don’t give the family any training beforehand 😢
@@babysamanthaa_I'm a cna with a mom who had a right side affected stroke. You want to transfer into bed with strong side toward the bed and transfer to the wheelchair strong side toward the wheelchair. Wheelchair at 30 degrees. Front touching bed, back side of wheelchair out about 6-8 inches.Have your mom put her left arm on your right shoulder like a hug. Get as close as you can to your mom. With the gate belt snug grab the gate belt under your mom's arms. If she can't hold her right arm then use an arm sling (like one for an injury). Therapy told me to go the other way crossing over mom's affected leg and mom can't be transferred that way. Think of it as dragging the affect leg behind you , it's out of the way. Crossing over the affected leg trying to force it to lead only leads to injury. I pray you are able to take care of your mom as no one can do it as well as someone who loves her. ❤️
IT FIGURES .. There's ALWAYS one. You've never heard of immunocompromised people (patients)? Take off your red hat every now and then and let your brain breathe.
Oh my God you made that look so easy but the person you are transferring also has to help right they have to push up and swing your hips over correct
Take the armrest off
What if you have a 2001bs and the patient has dementia no strength??
Não é tão fácil assim

You need two person if patient not able to stand
Never

She didn't pivot her feet, she moved them! Not that easy at all to do.
Itz just easy to do that but in real and the patients is big you cant do that😅
Try a one leg person,
Meglio sollevatore
Like that I blow out my knee! After that day I wasn't the same! Now I have to use a walker myself!😢😢
❤️🩹
We did this it was different like the patient have do sit forward and up one of there hand one the right handle and push and sit
It’s not safe
No good. Helper body must go closer to patient.
Make sure breaks are on the wheelchair

Las prácticas de pacientes a traslado de silla de rueda tiene que ser con paciente sin movilidad.
Patient stood by themselves a single caregiver coild not fo this
What can i do if the person has heavy weight
hahahahha....
❤❤❤
It is more difficult when the patient cannot push themselves up.
Not that simple. U do that & U will soon break yr own back. Try bending yr knees & lift that lady that is actually doing that lift herself.
😂😂😂
Show transfer from.wheelchair to chair, bed, toilet..ty
Unfortunately its nowhere near that easy
I know! She repositioned her self at least twice.
Its helpful for me as i need to care for care recipient soon
This helps, but not realistic.
No...never,you might hurt your self,I am a caregiver and I know the proper way 👎🏻
We need chinese hydraulic lifts in our hospital.
Good body mechanics!!
The wheelchair should be at 45 degrees and the patient should hold the nurses shoulders while the nurse holds the gait belt
Ma per favore....
Take off the useless muzzles

@@tejano2k11 I guess you didn’t get the memo. The masks have been proven to be absolutely useless
What do the "muzzles" have to do with this video? Apparently, it was during covid epidemic
Be careful with the slamming down on chair, injuries can happen that way too.
