HELL YEAH i’m so happy to see the og version of descole’s theme here, i was so sad when in the future games they didn’t include the cool accordion segment when it’s so fitting for both the series and the character! i had no idea the other tracks were never released officially either!

Ah, DS Crunch quality for old music. It's so nice that the modern games have higher quality music, but i can't lie, the low quality of some of the older Professor Layton tracks do make me nostalgic.

One of the trailers had the end part of the main melody (before the music box version of Surely Someday) uninterrupted by sound effects (iirc), so there would possibly be a way to splice that in to make it even cleaner overall EDIT: I don't remember which one sadly, I just know one had it. Might be one of the French ones as it's my native tongue and what I usually search for EDIT 2: Got it! It's in Professeur Layton et l'héritage des Aslantes - Bande-annonce (Nintendo 3DS) (at any rate it's where I heard it, might have been all PAL regions in hindsight)
