OMG... I was part of an 80's Band 'Chatterbox' in Seattle. We opened for another band called 'Toys' or 'Boy Toys'. They signed with Label in LA and moved. Our band fell apart and I started new group. Shane, Joe, Don, Pat came over. Top 40 Covers from 70's / 80's / and more. Kevin Hunt and Glen Hunt employed some of them, including myself.

@@lacedpunchpunk Thanks for comment. It was a long time ago, bands came and went..... Garage Bands sprung up and the good ones went on to better venues. Probably heard Johnny Thunders. I went to school at UW. Went to great parties and dances on campus. Probably saw Heart before they fled to Canada. The off campus parties on Greek Row were legendary. Also there were great bars that had amazing live bands. We get spoiled and it's not until later when going to lesser talented venues we knew the difference.

from seeing them live and seeing shitty cut off photos of it online, it looks like 2-3 EQ pedals running into a HM2 running into a volume footswitch, not sure abt the specifics for the filters but I've found just blasting the highs and killing half of the low end gets a really close sound, hope this helps 🫡
EQ pedals could also be at the end of the effect chain, unsure tbh

To me its got a kind of british 80's oi/punk sound. Good meaner street sound. And i love the leads added in that give it a more filled out sound/dynamic. Not enough bands do that anymore. I love the melodies mixed with the mean driving rhythms, great vocals. And the solo lead stuff isn't lame melodic like blitz new age blah. Very catchy and memorable. Shit will stick in your head for days after first listen. I hear elements of other bands but nothing i can pin down, which is great. I hate rip off bands.
